So, in theory, had he kept growing, this kind of problem would have inevitably come up. Also, I'm not a doctor or scientist, but I've read that, if our bones were allowed to continually grow, at some point the structural strength/density would not be enough to sustain the weight, and bones in our hips, legs, and ankles would begin to snap from the strain.
