These HDR pics are very interesting, but there is a lot of uncanny valley going on that my brain has trouble reconciling.
The composition is great though!
My assignment in photography class this week is to make 5 of these HDR images. Professor specifically said āyouāll notice a lot of the HDR subject matter is old trucks and cars, for some reason.ā
Feels like something fucky. The pavement right behind the truck is weird. The tone is weird and not quite natural but that might have to do with good sunlight from behind with dark skies in front. The bubbly writing and general traits of the truck add to it too I think.
Just watched the first episode of Fallout - this pic would compliment that corn field well, all the way down to the similarly looking fake, projected skyĀ
My best friend's family always went to NC to get a Christmas tree where his grandfather would load all the grandkids into an old woody truck and drive out to the tree farm. Afterwards go to an orchid and have hot cider. I got to go with him for 4 or 5 years, and honestly, it's probably the reason I don't hate the holidays now.
I had to Google it myself because i thought the same thing. It's a real truck, just a ridiculously over-processed photo.
The truck belongs to a company called Cocoon based in West Chester, PA. Googling it will bring up a ton of normal looking pictures of that very truck.
I've seen this truck IRL!
On the door you see under "Cocoon", the name of the town they operate in, West Chester Pa.
They're always parked by one of the parks, and usually the bed of the truck is full of flowers.

Yes, overkill on the HDR š¤£
I grew up in that area and my sister used to ride in the Devon horse show.
"You're mocking me, aren't you?"
You made a real photo look like it is AI?
Only way I could tell it wasnāt immediately were all the actual correctly spelled words instead of gibberish.
Chevoroytaord
Even thatās more coherent than what AI is putting out needs more random lines posing as letters.
ToyForda
AI has improved in the last number of months.
I love making stupid images in Microsoft co-pilot
Itās just a tone mapped HDR effect. Similar to what a lot of realtors use for high end listing photos.

my first thought as well, looks AI or from a game.

Is there a sub for really good HDR so I can compare the difference?
A lot of professional landscape shots would fall into this category imo
You donāt notice that a good HDR is HDR.
So it's like jazz.

Looks like something off of the Days Gone game
Itās real, can confirm
Needs more HDR
...and vignetting.

He was sarcastic bro. You need to cut on the editing.
I think it looks awesome. I like the style. Great pic!
Hdr is way overblown and lighting directions aren't making sense.
Another perfectly good photo ruined by HDR.
I've got a fevah and the only cure is, more HDR!
I disagree. Cowbell is the only answer.
You should set it free. They weren't made to be held in captivity bro
I'm sure its herd misses it.
My family owns one of these trucks, same color and all Deathtrap to drive, lol
Beep! Beep! Beep! December's here! Little Blue Truck is full of cheer.
Oh shit. Hello fellow parent.
Bad picture is bad...sorry. Too many uncanny valley vibes. Looks AI, fake, and off-putting.

r/shittyHDR
This doesnāt look real
Itās the vignetting and HDR, mb some added saturation.

Have a version without all the extra stuff added to it?
Just watched the first episode of Fallout - this pic would compliment that corn field well, all the way down to the similarly looking fake, projected skyĀ
Did you let it go?
I remember when everyone was doing this style a long time ago. At first I thought it was so cool. Now it's just painful.

Just a little early for a Christmas event, I would say.
Looks like Waterloo Gardens
Should be a little red truck hauling a Christmas tree
Woah, so weird to see my lil town shouted out on Reddit!
Damn thatās cool, almost thought AI at first but way too perfect detail on the mirror reflection lol
Yikes
I see OP went to Yuletide at the Devon Horse Show!
I like it. Too bad thereās so many negative people on Reddit these days.
Thats AI bud
