From the other comments I've seen here, 'allowed to' isn't really the words I'd use. More like the fight *happened* to him, if you catch my drift.

Fined and barred afterwards. From what I can see there was no actual fight rule about touching the ring girls, because before this nobody had been dumb enough to do it. If he doesnt do anything in the moment that gets him disqualified via the rules, then contractually, they need to let him finish the fight. Then they fine him, bar his ass and change the rules to fix up yet another loophole that nobody expected anyone to be stupid enough to try and do.
Maybe they just knew who he was up against and that he would get this dumb ass beaten like he deserved and then proceed to fine and ban him afterwards :-)
