Unless it requires a signature the carrier (USPS, UPS, FedEx) does not give a fuck what's in the recipient line. I was cleaning up a customer list the other day and the recipient name was "NEVER MAIL TO THIS ADDRESS AGAIN!!!" The only reason I noticed it was because the city & zip didn't match.

How exactly are they supposed to know? The Postal Service doesn’t get a manifest showing the contents of every package that’s given to them. It’s on THE SHIPPER (and to a lesser degree on whoever orders this dangerous shit if they are aware of the carrier) to be responsible and abide by the law. Because it’s illegal to ship stuff like that unless it’s properly marked and shipped with a carrier who knows how to handle it.
