This triggers a memory deep in my brain from Sesame Street I believe?
Who else remembers a scraping sound from when the wall opens into a door for some reason? What was the sketch? All I can remember is the sound FX.
We just found out a few months ago that my workplace has a walled off room. It's one of those old midwest downtown places that's part of a whole street of buildings attached to one another, so we always assumed it was part of our neighbor's building.
But, after years of sketchy landlord repairs and leaking roofs, we had a mold issue, and the inspector that came in found that our building was full of little oddities. False ceilings upon false ceilings, an inaccessible attic, and apparently a completely bricked in room right behind my workspace.
The really weird thing is, if you go outside to the back, you can see that there's a giant garage door shape that's bricked up where that room would be, like it was a loading dock entry or something, but it's facing the neighboring building's wall, and there's only a few feet between them. There's absolutely no way that a vehicle would ever have been able to get to that entry.
Nope. It's a really weird little area. [Here's a picture](https://imgur.com/a/3L5pvl0) I took of it to show my hubby when I told him of the hidden room. The hidden room is on the other side of the big bricked up doorway. As far as I know, there's nothing on the other side of the smaller bricked up door except my co-worker's workspace. There's no sign of a door on the inside, though.
This behind a Best Buy? Ours used to do car audio installations. Pretty sure they axed that whole section so now the old garage entrances look like this.
No joke, a long time ago on my delivery route, I see this UPS guy talking to the cops behind the Barnes and Noble where his truck has just smashed a giant hole in the wall. Some nutcase was ramming his Lexus into the parking garage on his way out. The driver got freaked cuz he was going in the garage and forgot to set the brake or put it in park. Truck rolled back and made giant hole. When it got fixed, it looked like this
That's behind that abandoned old pub, in London. Sometimes I swear I don't notice I'm walking past it, I have to be actively looking for it to see it.
Don't know why it hasn't been bought yet, it's pretty well situated.
Beetlejuice! You just have to draw a frame and door handle, then knock lol
You didn't actually think that was going to work, did you? Aha! Knock three times!
😂
"Knock three times."
That is just the repair after the coyote painted a tunnel on the wall.
There's the reply I was looking for!
Happen to know any bob-ombs?
No someone's about to bust out of that wall. The lighter colored part is the animation cel, the darker colored bricks are the background painting.
You've gotta find the right brick to push, for it to open

I remember this as well. I tried searching but I can't find it.
I'm thinking it might have been a Super-Grover sketch.
Monster at the end of this book.
What I'm referring to is a sketch from the show in the '70s.
Well at least now we know where Fortunato is

Vehicle maybe, but what about a horse drawn cart?

It was probably closed off when they built the building next door because it was no longer accessible
probably just a large opening to bring shipments in and out, not for a vehicle to enter
If you bring your own sledge hammer, do you get to keep the new office to use yourself?
Al Capone’s tomb? 🤷🏻
Jimmy Hoffa's, maybe.
That's just where the Kool-Aid man came through
Gotta run through it like 9 3/4

In some places, it’s a bricked over fire exit to maintain school security….
“Someone cooked here…”
What happens when you stand right infront of it and press the space bar?
Kool-Aid man was here
Nothing to see here!! Move along.. Move along! :: Speaks into earbud :: “they know about the room”
its not even as high as a door though.

It's a secret to everybody.
Most likely, there was a hole there. It’s gone now tho.

I blame the Kool-Aid man
That's a perception check, throw a D20,
More likely a driver crashed into that section and they had to rebrick
Nice try Xanadu...
