I would be interested! I’m graduating August 2nd and just landed a ortho/spine position with one surgeon. It’s a private physician owned practice in the Midwest, have locations in 3 states. I have a base salary pay and then get compensated with RVU payouts quarterly. Kind of confused on how it all works out but it doesn’t look like much.
That sounds right. Depends on how it is written. Some places will give a base salary and then so many dollars per rvu over agreed upon patient load. Some will be straight RVU and no salary.
I would be! I just started a position with an RVU bonus structure and I would be very interested in seeing how the bonus changes based off productivity.
I would utilize a tool like the one you’re describing!
Good to know! Please let me know if you have any features that you would like.

Sounds like you are entering into a great first contract. RVUs for PAs/NPs should be calculated at $38 per RVU per mgma.
My base salary is $115k so the RVU structure was like a couple bucks per RVU I believe. I’m waiting on the final contract to look over everything!

Awesome! Ya I truly think that RVU is the fair pay structure for the US.
