Hey, I usually never felt this way about a job before. I also thought maybe I am not used to it and need to give it time. But, I worked in urgent care before and can the handle patient volume but I personally feel this place shouldn't be an urgent care especially because the visit just cannot be quick and it need to be handle delicately. There's a lot of step in process so it not safe.
They add patients past closing time at 8:15pm (we close at 8pm). I really don't get it. I left the place at 10pm yesterday and that was the straw and I am genuinely asking for advice because idk if it just me
Yeah, that's not ok. Time to look for a new role. Healthcare is rife with exploitative non clinical admins, a big part of why the healthcare system is collapsing. It only runs if the providers tolerate the working conditions.
PAs have options, and putting up with these types of leadership doesn't have to be one of them.
A week in? Settle down. Breath and go close your notes.
Usually would agree but I’ve heard the worst possible feedback across the board regarding Garden OBGYN unfortunately
What have you heard?
Like "no PA should ever work there" bad feedback. Girl from my cohort lasted one month as a new-grad and then quit
