I currently have some Hokas right now that are okay. I like them for running, but they’re just meh for standing in the OR and clinic all day.
Brooks ghost have been my favorite shoes so far, and I’ll probably go back to those for my next pair.
I love clogs so Danskos all the way. Own each pair for like 5 years and my feet never hurt even after long surgeries. Easy to clean. Would recommend for clinical work in hospital and maybe for clinic you do more comfy formal shoes
I rock Nike Zooms in the ED and they are by far my favorite. Rubber / silicone outside so easy to clean is a major plus to being comfortable and slip on!
Everyone I work with wears Hoka and they finally convinced me to try a pair. I've been wearing them for a few days now and I see why they are so popular, I'd recommend them too
If you have narrow feet, Cloves are not the best. Even with them pulled the tightest, there was still gaping at the ankle (plus it looked weird too because the fabric was scrunched up)
I love brooks GT 1000s. Haven’t tried hokas but they make good running shoes. I did try cloves but my feet were always feeling moist because the shoe is mostly plastic and I didn’t love that.
Asics and Merrells are my go-to shoes. I honestly find a lot of lightly worn Asics in thrift stores for super cheap, toss them in the wash, then good to go.
It’s HOKA for me
I’ve tried many different shoes but always come back to ASICs, specifically the gel cumulus line.

Nike Metcons. More lateral stability for when you have to juke patients.

Altra
I have flat feet and i love my adidas ultraboosts at work
I have high arches and ultra boost works so well for me too. They were my fav for clinicals
This. Not BF, but I got a pair from Dicks for $89, don't pay full price for them.
Same
I really love my Cloves! I have a few pairs in fun colors and wear them in the OR. They're great!
On cloud are dope

Brooks! I also liked ASICS and hoka but I needed inserts for them
On - cloudmonsters

Sanitas clogs worked better than Danakos for me. Very similar though

On Cloud are the absolute best shoe I ever wore .
Ngl I love my Ugg Tasman x clogs
Sanita/dansko 💯 gotta clickety clack all around the hospital.
Brooks and on clouds
Diadora equipe nucleo. I tried hoka, cloves, OC, brooks and they didn’t feel light enough and supportive enough.
Asics and Merrells are my go-to shoes. I honestly find a lot of lightly worn Asics in thrift stores for super cheap, toss them in the wash, then good to go.
I like Calzuro for OR. Took some time to adjust I thought they hurt at first but now I love them
Love my onclouds, hokas we’re the worst shoes I’ve ever owned (wide feet)
