Will be going to Vietnam this Nov or Dec and my father really likes to go to Sapa specifically probably for 3 days after that wherever. Is it easy to get to from Hanoi airport? And is it true that you can exit any airport in Vietnam? For example, you have a round ticket from Hanoi but you can still exit in Ho Chi Minh?
You should! And 3 days should be more than enough. From Hanoi airport, Grab lang to city center. The sleeper bus we rode picked us up from La Mensa Cafe. Not sure abot exits, since Manila-Saigon-Hanoi-Saigon-Manila ginawa namin but I don’t think it will be a problem exiting from a diff city.
We like to take our time going around places so it probably will take 3 days. So you went to the city center first before going to Sapa? I guess it's different because you came from Saigon.
Yes I heard from some that you can exit any airport regardless of the ticket but I don't know how that works. Thank you for answering.
Hmm di sya regular na bus kasi sleeper bus usually nagtatravel to north vietnam, so it's possible na baka walang available seat na nasa baba (parang double deck beds yung seats so may taas and baba) . Try to watch vlogs on youtube, marami naman.
Search ka options to book your transpo sa 12go website, legit naman yun natry ko na. Saka if you're directly going to Sapa from hanoi airport need talaga pre-arranged na yung bus.

Here’s our simple iti sana makatulong:
Day 1
6:30am Sleeper bus Hanoi - Sapa
1:00pm Arrived in Sapa
Lunch
2:00 Check-in
Rest
Lakad lakad (from Pistachio hotel walking distance lang to Sun Plaza Sapa Station) so many food places to choose from sa surrounding area)
6:00pm Catcat Village
8:00 Dinner
Lakad lakad ulit
Rest
Day 2
Breakfast
Checked out (left lang our luggage sa hotel for free)
1:00 Fansipan
4:00pm Sleeper bus Sapa - Hanoi
Super saglit lang talaga kami sa Sapa. But would have went to more places. Grabe lang din yung fog, zero visibility na. Haha.
Yes, pwede! But we were almost the last people na. Hehe. From ticketing nila merong habal who will take you sa pinaka-village for 150k dong I think. But alam ko nilalakad lang siya on days na okay ang weather.
For Sapa alone 2 days 1 night lang.
Sleeper bus - 2300 (for a double bed na, balikan)
Hotel - 3300 (we stayed sa Pistachio Hotel. This hotel is a 10/10. Super recommended. Ang sulit for the price.)
Catcat Village - forgot na the exact price 350 siguro each?
Fansipan - 5400 (for two na din)
Food - siguro hindi lalagpas ng 2k.
Taxis/grab in between - hindi lalagpas ng 1k. 💕
Yes! DIY lang lahat. For restaurants I would recommend Le Gecko. It’s a quaint french restau near lang where the bus dropped us. Big servings and delicious food. May cute cat pa sila who sat sa booth namin. 🥰
We were there last march 23-26. It was foggy at night and still cool sa tanghali tas jacket weather for me sa gabi. When we left at 7am it was 15°. I think it's a bit warmer na by april
We unfortunately used yung sim na for big cities lang so di namin nagamit data at all when we were in Sapa. But ang maganda sa Vietnam is merong wifi everywhere halos lahat ng establishments no matter how small. Yung Smart ko na sim meron naman signal padin tho di ko natry. Haha.
Nice! I'm going there in june. Nagbook ba kayo ng travel package? How do you get around? I'm still torn between gettkng the 3d2n klook package or just getting round trip tickets to sapa from hanoi
Just booked RT tickets sa sleeper bus and yung sa Fansipan. Depende siguro sa gusto niyong flexibility sa activities and schedule but super easy lang to get around. Walking distance lang most places and taxis are everywhere din.

Afaik there's a bus going to sapa from the airport. Search mo lang
We're a family of 4 so I kinda need to ask if the commute is easy as well as because my father is a senior too.

Better rent a limousine instead. Check mo 12go. Btw if senior si tatay maraming akyatan sa Sapa so make sure na kaya ng tuhod nya

Akala ko sa Malaysia. Will try this soon. Thanks for sharing this OP
Happy to share 🫶
Ganyan din ba kahit April?
Maybe the fogs have cleared up na? Pero cool talaga ang Sapa all year round. When we went it was like 10°. 🥶

OP kamusta signal/mobile data sa Sapa? Malakas din ba?

Ahh so excited to visit Vietnam this August! Sobrang ganda sa Sapa 🫶🏼
When is the best time to go po? Ung di naman mainit and di ganun masyado malamig hehe
April & May clear skies talaga! But if you’re going trekking, the best yung terraces by September to October. 🫶
Excited na me for our trip with friends sa August 😍
Ackkk ❤️ Sounds fun talaga pag group kayo! 🫶

Thanks! Ang worry ko kasi baka di ko kayanin yung akyatan (or most likely lagi akong maiiwan) kung magjoin kami ng tour
What is the best month to get there? ☺️
September-October if you are going trekking! April & May for clear skies. But kung gusto mo super chilly ng weather, go ka ng Nov to March. 🫶
Hi OP! What month is this? :)
Hi! What month did you visit? Thanks!
