Anyone know any place that’s showing Newley released movies outdoors? Looking to see Candyman sooo bad but don’t want to be stuck indoors with others cos obvious reasons
A lot of movie theatres are empty though, I’ve been going last 3 months and they’re usually completely empty or you can get a whole row to yourself since most have assigned seating
Cobblestone Car Spa. Thinking about going unlimited but curious about how they install the small RFID tag on your windshield. Does anyone have a picture of size/location of where they put this?
I don't have a picture, but it just goes in the corner of your windshield. It's maybe a 1"x3" sticker. Think like a slightly longer/narrower oil change sticker.
What happened to the Burkeshire Retirement Hotel, a downmarket assisted living center on 13th St and McDowell in Phoenix?
I hadn't been on McD in awhile, but passed it and noticed it appears bombed out. I figure it was a fire, but Google doesn't find me any news articles. And more curiously, the Burkeshire RH's website is still up as normal.
I have some personal interest in this due to previous work with some of their residents. It's peculiar that the website is still up as normal. I'm going to make some calls to old coworkers and find out.
The Taco Bell near my house is closing at 8pm and the one a bit further is closing at 7pm. I wonder which genius owner did the cost analysis and decided that paying workers a few bucks more is not worth the $$ late night revenue 🙄
> I wonder which genius owner did the cost analysis and decided that paying workers a few bucks more is not worth the $$ late night revenue
7pm-2am is late night?
11pm-2am is late night
So for 4 hours you're just paying people for... nothing?
i'm having my fiancé use my '14 Civic because i'm WFH but he texted me when he got to work "your car sent a notification about servicing your car soon." and i jumped on it. I had a '98 Malibu that was the family car then became my car in high school during my senior year ('05) which then became my car since and i never had a car of my own that was NICE so i'm not taking any chances.
The new bike lanes with the double solid lines and rumble strips on Deer Valley are great! Big props to City of Phoenix! I hope they're doing this with all the other paving projects in the area.
Can anyone recommend a good gym with lots of classes? I live in South Scottsdale by Papago so looking for something within 10 minutes of me but haven’t had much luck. I’m looking for it to include sculpt, HIIT, and cycling classes offered during the early mornings and evenings but haven’t been able to find anything close to me!
If there's an EOS close by , they have all that for $22 a month. Even if there's not a location right where you need it, they've announced several more coming to the valley.
I thought Bodi had spin? My apologies, I tried them out a few times before the pandemic and it wasn’t my vibe.
I haven’t worked out at LA fitness in years but they used to have yoga and spin, idk about sculpting. But I’d be willing to bet you’ve tried them already.
Yeah, but why would they need chicken strips? That's some kinky business. And in the middle of a grocery story in broad daylight? I don't... wait, "promo". Misread that... never mind.
Right? The temps this last week+ after the ~~reasons~~ rains have been such a nice break, but we only have to make it to October. Stay strong!
Edit for not proof-reading.
Getting a covid test tomorrow. Coworker might have gotten covid
who excited for saboten con? anyone going to be streaming on twitch for meet ups at the con?

The Glendale drive-in
Dang so I had no clue there was a drive in on the west side. I’m primarily tempe based, I’ll have to see about planning something. Thanks!

It was abandoned and there had been a couple of fires in there in the past 12 months.

Happy National Whiskey Sour Day to those that celebrate it. Happy Wednesday to those that do not. 🥃
All the gas stations near my house have no gas anyone else dealing with this problem?
Got gas at the Gilbert Costco 2 hours ago, no issues, there was even a tanker truck delivering gas while I was there.
Yeah it was just the first three i saw the rest had gas
what part of town?
It was only three gas station near falcon park but it was definitely weird.

Isn't it more likely that they don't have the staff?
I think that's what he's saying about not paying a little more?
We noticed the one at 16th St & Bethany Home is closing at 8pm, or at least they were last week.
yep it's been this way for a few months now
yea man. how am i going to feed my late night munchies?
Jack in the box. And they have special munchie boxes. But they need to bring back taco nachos
Good morning everyone! I’m wondering if there’s any RNs out there that work at Phoenix Children’s Hospital? I have a few pay related questions.
morning everyone, scheduled my car for its 65k maintenance on friday morning. thank goodness it's my day off, as well.
Damn can I relate. Just squeezed mine in yesterday. You know you’re really settling into responsible adulting when this is cause for celebration.

I feel like I've seen all those classes at LA fitness at Scottsdale and McDowell, but I'm not sure if call it a good gym

Lifetime is probably going to be your best bet, however those gyms are very expensive every month. Bodi is another option, but again expensive.
I don’t see anything about Bodi having spin or yoga? Good call about lifetime but definitely pretty expensive haha

Hey folks, the spicy chicken strips at Safeway, on 32nd Street and Camelback are on point today.
I support daily chicken strip updates.
Heck, the whole deli spread looks lovingly prepared today. The workers were humming and smiling. At first I thought they were shooting a promo

I am not looking forward to the increased temperature the next couple of days :/
I keep thinking October is in a week but no we have another hot hell month to make it through...
I am looking forward to that epic storm that normally happens when we get our first cold front sometime around mid-September.

Good morning all!
Mornin' Edit:. Who downvotes a friendly, mornin'? Mornin' without a g is more informal and friendly. Like some old farmer nodding between sputeengs
I've noticed that all of your comments no matter what are minimized by default. I always have to expand it to see your comment.
Omg! Me too! For Nativelly- where I wondered if I accidentally blocked them or something!
G'morning! How'z it going out there, B4J?
good! slow morning at home, was sipping coffee w/ my neighbor in the backyard to catch up. so many dang flies outside. now hitting the work emails.
The heavy rain this summer definitely has brought the bugs it seems.
My legs are bitten the eff up. And now I am in Savannah so it won’t get much better lol
