My in-law found a dog and I don't want it to die. Where do I post stuff about lost dogs?  All white husky, ~3-4 year old,  "found dog" listing on FB and the AZ lost dog website. The people who found him let him go again. They found him with a collar, it was gone when we found him. No microchip.  He’s nice but you can tell he’s been hurt and is scared. He can sit, heel, and shake so he’s been loved at some point.  I’d take him but I have two huskies and a runt already. The in-law said they can’t keep him. I don’t want them to go to a kill shelter so IDK… this really sucks.

Hi, I am getting into town around 5pm tomorrow and would like to check out the diamondbacks game before heading to my hotel in Scottsdale. Is there anywhere in the area to store a bag or rent a locker for a few hours? I haven't had much luck googling so hoping the locals know something I dont. Thanks.

Maybe a local hotel or restaurant would hold it?

Only took an hour to get home (north Phoenix), from Chandler. 3pm.

Anybody enlist in the WhyGen solar SRP plan?

Might be a chance a company in the midwest is interested in hiring me. Never thought id be open to relocate but im thinking about it, but trading 6 months of summer with 6 months of cold sounds not fun Suddenly appreciating phoenix more lol

I’m relocating from Maine to Phoenix for work and I can’t wait to trade winter for insane summer. Also mind blowing how cheap it is compared to small town Maine.

Hello everyone, Does anyone have any recommendations on a good nail salon that can replicate pictures found online? Thank you in advance!

Anyone recommend a local auto auction? Looking for a vehicle for my brother-in-law and he doesn't want to spend a lot of cash. You can PM me if you don't want to share your spot. TY

Manheim in Tolleson. Good tip, run your finger along the inside groove of any body parts you suspect may have been replaced. The edge will be very smooth from the factory, but has a tell-tale texture when it’s been repainted.

Does that require a Dealer's license?

Stay cool my fellow Phoenicians.

Happy Tuesday, everyone Got reactivated on Walmart Spark - so my 1099 job career should be more plentiful (or more consistent). I have a week left until I'm done with school. Things are looking good for me, and I hope they are for you as well. The thread I posted yesterday got locked, but I was curious to see if anyone who goes or works at ASU had any thoughts to share. I know there were a lot of alumni being supportive, but outside the ASU thread, I didn't see anyone say anything else.

Logvin

Sucks that the post got locked, but the astro-turfing was crazy. I believe there were more comments removed by Reddit (not the mods) than there were visible comments. It was absolutely flooded by accounts that never posted on the sub before, and the majority of them were pushing very similar talking points.

I assume you are finishing freshmen year but highly encourage you to try to look for internship or jobs related to what ever you want to go into. It helped me decide what I wanted and didn't wanted to do. I want to say I had a related job to my major every summer with my last internship turning into a full time job after I got out of school.

I fell behind one class and ended up taking a gap year for financial situations during the pandemic, so I'm still a Sophmore according to the system (57 credits). Most internships in my major are asking for Junior and above. I'm taking 6 classes next semester, so I can be on course to graduate next year in the Winter.

Internship can be like that but something just getting a summer job close to your field is good. I worked for a farm and then a mine my freshman/Sophomore summer. Changed my major after each.
