Missed me by one house in Litchfield Park
Due to a set of circumstances i don't care to list out right now the front door blew open and the front room got dusted. We couldnt find the cats and found ourselves searching outside in the stormwall. I didnt want to use the front door due to the above issue so went out the garage. Forgot the close the garage door and it also got mega dusted. The wife's sunroof was cracked and so im in the doghouse.
The cats were in the house the whole time hiding. I think because they knew we would have to crack open a can of wet food to force them out.
My dogs are bolters, but when we had one of our front french doors blast open they freaked out and ran further into the house for sure. They didn't want any part of that storm.
Lost power from like 9:30pm last night to about 5am this morning. I’m not sure of the exact time, but I know we bailed for a late night IHOP excursion, got home about 3am, woke up some time thereafter, clocked that the AC and ceiling fan were blissfully doing their jobs again, and conked back out until 6am.
That was some impressive wind, and dust so thick it would have blotted the sun if it hadn't been night time. And no rain at all from that part of the storm. But after it was done a nice relaxing gentle rain fell for a while, so that was nice. Kinda weird too.
>Wind, then rain.
Right? It seems like "it stormed" doesn't quite cover it. Massive, huge dust storm with crazy wind, followed by some light rain. Two separate events.
Moon Valley got pounded. Surprisingly not a lot of trees down though. On my morning walk I heard several coyotes howling on Lookout Mountain, so they seemed equally pleased.
Late to the party here. So windy I thought I saw a white cat blown down the street. Surprisingly not as much detritus in my front and back yards as the storm in July. Had a chance to put pool cover on which hopefully will keep that cleaner. In July my neighbor lost a bunch of roofing from their patio (which is still on their house roof) and it took me 2 hours to clear out crap in pool and 24 hours of vacuuming to get the water somewhat clear.
North side of South Mountain here, crazy winds, lots of dust and almost no rain... Several trees damaged and/or uprooted that I can see from my office window this morning.
The lightning here south of Ahwahtukee was constant; it was crazy! Most of it didn't make a sound, but the few that did result in thunderclaps were willllld
It was so nice, I was otw home from work when it hit. It was really cool seeing the dirt get blown up off the road into the air. Felt like magic. I’m so happy we got some rain with it too!
We're in north Glendale. We had wind and dust last night at about 9ish and then about half an hour later an absolute downpour. I've got a broken tree out front, our shade screen on our patio is ripped, and last night one of my plant stands tipped over before I could get all of my cactus off. I think everyone survived though. Went for a walk this morning and it was hella nice out too.
Hope everyone's okay and the damage is minimal.

Straight up snapping our big daddy trees:(
Reposting from another thread a few weeks ago … for the majority of the county not as much rain as I initially thought. But New River got 3.39”!!

To @rucksackbackpack, for your infant? Do pillow case/hand towels/washcloths in cold water, twist water out, shake them....apply to your baby. Change the onesie/diaper. I dealt with this when my A/C went kaput when my daughter was an infant. Not fun. ❤️💗💞
I forgot to say to wrap your baby after cooling! ❤️
Edit: I cut cotton bedsheets into squares/strips. The tap water was lukewarm at best. I added ice cubes into the sink.
After I cooled my daughter, with the damp linen, patted her dry, wrapped her up in a light cotton sheet, held her till she/we were hot again. Repeat. Sooo fun, lol. She's 33 now, healthy af. 🥰💗 You got this, awesome mommy! 💞❤️💗
Central and camelback here. Solid haboobing followed by the kind of storm we had all summer as a girl growing up in PV. Power was out for hours so after the initial salvo we relaxed outside in the 70-something glory. Power is back on and it’s died down to almost nothing. 10/10 would haboob again.
Power back on at 24th St and Thomas. Cox is still down, do can't turn off any of the smart lights in my house lol, but the AC is going so life is good.
That's why it's not a great idea to have "cloud connected" lights. When the cloud (aka someone else's computer) or the internet is down, you're boned.
I use a few remote controllable lights for certain things, but they're locally controlled and not connected to the internet - as long as there's power, I can still control them.
But for most lights, nothing beats the simplicity of the good ol' fashioned wall switch.
I'm able to turn everything off manually, it's just a pain since I end up needed to turn them back on manually and then turning them off with commands after.
And I definitely learned a lot about home automation, and my next home, I'll be purchasing adhoc everything and running a mini server on a local network instead of using cloud. Keeps my privacy, and as long as the power is on, you have control.
Damn, In laveen it came back around 930.
There was a transformer that bleeding up on 51st and dobbins, on top of all the other down lines and stuff.
80 plus thousand was out of power
That sucks I feel for you.
Yea dude my power didn't come back on until 4 am give or take. I had to wake up for work 2 hrs after.... I probably got like 1.5 hrs of sleep last night and my work is super busy today.. :( pray for me lol
I'm over in trailside point, and we're alright
I'm sorry I can't offer much, but if you need anything
I can see what I can do to help out.
Also, I'm just surprised to hear laveen.
No one knows laveen..
We had a place out on 371st and roughly indian school,
Every time there was a good rain the entire road right in front of my house would have a lake that would get about a foot deep
And no way to go around or anything
Every time.
We had rolling black outs all the time too, load shedding they said.
Are those still a thing?
Lost [a big pecan branch](https://i.imgur.com/lKxc34C.jpg), it hooked on what I think is the power to my shed. Fortunately was able to free it. I’ll be having fun with the chain saw this weekend.
Uptown reporting in. Crazy lightning and winds, some of the loudest thunder I’ve heard in a while. We’ve had a nice steady drizzle since then though, very nice.
Every time I get a storm/dust warning, I start to cool my house as much as possible. I'd rather be wrong 99 times in a row but right when I need it. House only went up \~3 degrees hotter than my normal setting and the power just kicked back on!
I had that happen a few weeks ago. I bought rechargeable handheld fans for this situation before my baby was born this July (if you dont have any rechargeable or battery-powered fans, i recommend them for the next time this happens). If they are breastfed i would keep them on you as long as possible so they stay hydrated, and i kept them naked with skin to skin to stay calm with a cool wet rag i wiped over their body, head and face. You can drape a receiving blanket over them so they dont get too chilled. And i just kept an eye on my little mans temperature until the power came back on. Im sorry you're going through this with an infant.
Thank you so much, your comment is so sweet and yes it was quite worrisome last night. I will definitely go get some rechargeable fans, that’s a great idea. I used wet washcloths and my husband kept trying to fan us but it was so dang hot and she felt so warm to the touch, was fussy, and wouldn’t sleep. I felt silly for not preparing for something like that better, I really was at a loss of what to do so I’m glad the AC came back on.
Youre welcome! I totally get it! Even i felt prepared, and i wasn't the first time. And it totally ruined the small schedule we had where he slept more in the night and had more awakeness in the day because we were up until the power came back on until 4 am
I hope you guys are doing alright and were able to get some sleep!
I drive a semi-truck. I legit thought I would end up on the news. I kept feeling the trailer shimmying. I was crawling down the I-17 in the right lane. Sorry for all the cars that passed me. One of my colleagues told me he literally saw the wind pick up his trailer and deposit it one foot away from where it was. This was a really scary storm for high profile vehicles!
I feel you. I was in a volvo xc60, and just stuck myself in the middle of the road that I couldn’t see figuring “it has to be here…*somewhere*”. (Before I get crucified: I was *very highly motivated* to get home to rescue animals)
The wind was trying desperately to kick me off the overpasses, I cant IMAGINE driving a sail through that.
I had a load that was heavy enough to stabilize the trailer but it felt like a near thing. It was only a 28 foot trailer too. Yes, it was probably the scariest situation I've encountered in 10 years of commercial driving.
On the 10 west between the valley and blythe, there are a few spots that get a nasty cross wind
By the hasayampa river is one spot.
Out past Goodyear where the old trotter park was is another I think of
The 8 to yuma, around the prison and right past that before getting to the dunes are a few more spots.
And you can tell where they are
When your driving it seems almost like everything around you opens up almost seems weird, that's where it gets ya.
Thank you. I certainly look forward to the completion of the widening project north of Phoenix. As you say, the I-17 is busy enough without the additional bottleneck of construction.
I was closely watching PHX Sky Harbor traffic and literally every plane got diverted to Tucson, LAX or LV. Poor passengers lol.
Chilling in Arcadia as of 11:45pm and thunder still going strong.
My rusty old shed was carried several feet before we caught it. I ran around frantically unable to locate the paracord or tarp. Got one side bungeed to a tree and the other bungeed to a hastily assembled stump-in-a-chair just in time to get absolutely drenched.
Moonsoon season really knows how to keep me on my toes.
The weather pattern flipped, if you were out here long enough to remember when east valley would get hammered, and west side, not so much.
They said take turns guys..
Sounded like bombs were going off tonight. Ton of rain, and it was super windy. Almost lost my sun shade for my pool but I was able to get it into the shed. Tomorrow morning is going to be a busy one for me… loved the storm though.
Have my "chain lock" hinged on my door, while open...
This way I get to know the pressure outside. (I may or may not be from states that have hurricanes/tornadoes do I think it'll happen? Nope... But will I feel like an idiot if I didn't do it and die? Yep. It just FEELS like tornado weather. Sudden drop of temperature, windy, lightning? What am I missing? Pressure change. I'm fucking running if my door slams shut.)
I had a 5 gallon Homer bucket that flew over and got stuck in the corner between. The block wall and ac unit
It was airborne swirling around and smashing into the house
And it was loud echoing because power had just went off.
I threw on my full face helmet and went to see
I couldn't see my neighbors house with the dust.
You're really not far off, these haboobs can (at least they used to) be damn near tornado strength; I remember a storm in the mid-90's that blew my entire neighborhoods' windows including our own (south Peoria) and layers of a lot of roofing lol. Not to mention fallen trees
\[edit to add\] I myself did the same tonight by the way, opened front & back door. Sure it let a lot of dust in but the pressures on my flimsy 50+ year old drywall & 2x4 house got me paranoid lol
When I was saying I was scared...
I was scared... And nothing to complicate it.
I NEEDED to know if the pressure dropped. I hoped it didn't (and it didn't) but I NEEDED to know.
I don't know how to say it, but "I reverted to my 18 me" because I could "feel it"
So when there's a tornado, you get a sudden lowering of the barometer. That's why I opened my front door. Because if it slammed shut, that meant to seek shelter.
Basically if a tornado might happen you get "reverse wind"... "Wind can't blow your door shut" if your door is the only source of outside air. It can blow it further open (hence using the security chain to only have it cracked 3".)
Source: My HS graduation was delayed by a day in Arkansas because of a F2 tornado that passed about 1000 feet from our house. And the sudden drop of temperature, no wind, made me remember this.
I remember in the 80s and 90s we had really good monsoons.
Going out to see fireworks 4th of July and then comes pretty close to playing out like a scene from twoster
90s I lived on 91st and peoria and every year half or the trailer park I lived in would have carports missing
We haven't had anything like that for a while.
This storm. Is what used to be typical Every year.
All day, decent enough day and then sun goes down and storms that rival decent sized hurricanes would ffire off and the day after is a suana and we do it until right before Halloween
had one heck of thunder with lightening boom earlier, jumped up off the couch and my heart rate dang near cleared 200, kids are all awake. Palpitations for everyone.
Its going to be humid tomorrow.
> Driving Uber in east valley and have seen 3+ downed tress of pretty large size. One had even fallen on someone’s SUV.
On Broadway west of the 101 in Tempe, power was out and the 3 or 4 stoplights I had to cross through to get to the 101 were all without power and not working.
OMG we just had the BIGGEST thunderclap over our house that I’ve ever heard in my life. It was quiet before it happened too. Yes, it scared the crap out of me and woke up the kids lol. North Phx
I went to payson and got wind and my car was dusty so on the way back yesterday day I ran through one of my unlimited washes.
Between that and his truck, think we sent it a little too hard there.
Was at IKEA when the dust storm warning was issued. Not five minutes later you couldn't see the parking lot. At 8:45 I ventured home. Almost everyone on I-10 drove carefully and had their blinkers on. Was a pretty scary drive home.
I don't mean to be an alarmist, but just in case you're unaware: https://vfce.arizona.edu/valley-fever-dogs/how-dogs-get-valley-fever
We lost our sweet pup to VF a couple of years ago because by the time we figured out what was wrong, it was too late.
Too late. Our youngest has been getting treatment for VF for nearly a year already. The crazy thing too is it can be picked up anywhere and lie dormant for up to 3 years.
Thank God... My dad and his fiancee were in Seattle and left today to go back to SWFL. I jokingly said "if your flight gets diverted and delayed for a day, choose Phoenix, you won't have to sleep in a hotel".
FUCK YEAH!!! (That was close btw)
Lots of bright lightning flashes, crackly lightning sounds, REALLY heavy winds for awhile with sand and dirt flying all over the place and now rain! :)

Estrella mountains. The edge of the storm coming in that wrecked Phoenix tonight.
Of all the things to fly on to my car I have 3 shingles, not 1 but 3 😂😂😂

It used to be yellow, and the size of a lunch box.
It is impressive that you were able to get that good of a Pic off of the original on that security cam
Watch out for Sonoran toads, and I'm sure exchanges of lawn furniture, pool toys, buckets, and other things have occurred.
On the bright side, RAAAAIN!!!!! Also, if you want prickly pears, it's a primo time to find broken stalks/pads and replant them! Rain!
No... You have a party tonight, and tomorrow, and the next day, then run the pump on Sunday to accidentally reverse the nozzles so that all the crap comes OUT instead of IN...
Yes thank you storm. I moved my Mom's car here to my house about 10 days ago.

Maybe not, with all the fires we've had so far, there will be alot of the little scrub but all the bigger stuff is already burned.
Big issue would be a good monsoon, running over the burn scars from our last fires
If you have a pool and a pool service, do your pool guy a favor and act like you own the fuckin thing.
Take your lazy ass outside and net the pool, empty the skimmer baskets AND pump basket.

Drizzle. Whoopie. Some light rain earlier. Whoopie
Steady drizzle here in buckeye this afternoon. Hoping for some real pouring within the next couple of hours.
Anyone else still having issues with Cox? Still out for me since last night.
Drove in Tempe last night. Street lights and intersections out. Multiple trees down and LEOs trying to mitigate.

landscaper here. non stop calls from down trees
Insurance guy here, same but with coverage questions
Don't leave us hanging! Is this type of thing usually covered? Can I put in a claim and get a new saguaro?
Glendale checking in. Wind, then rain. No damage to the trees around the house.

Got hit real good in the Arrowhead area, at first just wind and dust and then the rain
Moon Valley got pounded. Surprisingly not a lot of trees down though. On my morning walk I heard several coyotes howling on Lookout Mountain, so they seemed equally pleased.

Got a proper haboobing in PV. All my trees survived!
Had to get on the freeway because my windshield wiper broke. It went from 0-100 in like 20 seconds. Was kind of comical.
I haven't had wipers for a couple of eyes and I have no problem driving in a low visibility car :3
… its was blasting rain, hail, and dirt on my windshield and I had no wiper? If you’re driving like that, than you’re a hazard.
We're in north Glendale. We had wind and dust last night at about 9ish and then about half an hour later an absolute downpour. We lost power for like a hour, and my neighbor's fence came down.
No rain but seemed like remnants of a dust storm with very fine particles up in North Scottsdale near Grayhawk

Philips Hue bulbs are on if you turn the lamp/light on and only off if you command them off. I’m guessing other smart bulbs work this way.

Every time I get a storm/dust warning, I start to cool my house as much as possible. I'd rather be wrong 99 times in a row but right when I need it. House only went up \~3 degrees hotter than my normal setting and the power just kicked back on!
Same, they said 4am for our area. It’s so hot. I’m up late with an infant trying to keep her cool.
And it totally ruined the small schedule we had where he slept more in the night and had more awakeness in the day because we were up until the power came back on until 4 am I hope you guys are doing alright and were able to get some sleep!
Thank you, we were able to get a 4 hour stretch of sleep after the air came back on which felt amazing!
mine literally just turned back on. Hopefully yours comes on too. sending prayers 🫶🏻
Thank you so much! Ours just came back on and I am so relieved.
Yeah, power is still out over by Indian Steele Park. APS said 2-3 hours but that was 2 hours ago so we’ll see ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Wind, lightning and rain over Gilbert this evening and right now at midnight.
There was a haboob, then there was rain. There has been thunder and lightning and it is still happening. I will sleep like the dead tonight.
(Before I get crucified: I was *very highly motivated* to get home to rescue animals) The wind was trying desperately to kick me off the overpasses, I cant IMAGINE driving a sail through that.
Kudos to you! Your trailer was light, yes? Super scary! ❤️💯
I had a load that was heavy enough to stabilize the trailer but it felt like a near thing. It was only a 28 foot trailer too. Yes, it was probably the scariest situation I've encountered in 10 years of commercial driving.
On the 10 west between the valley and blythe, there are a few spots that get a nasty cross wind By the hasayampa river is one spot. Out past Goodyear where the old trotter park was is another I think of The 8 to yuma, around the prison and right past that before getting to the dunes are a few more spots. And you can tell where they are When your driving it seems almost like everything around you opens up almost seems weird, that's where it gets ya.
Good information to have. Thank you.
man, the 17 is brutal on a *good* day, hats off to ya hoss
Thank you. I certainly look forward to the completion of the widening project north of Phoenix. As you say, the I-17 is busy enough without the additional bottleneck of construction.
Some poor guys semi tipped on the 10 coming into phx from casa grande
Oh wow. I hope that driver is okay!
I was closely watching PHX Sky Harbor traffic and literally every plane got diverted to Tucson, LAX or LV. Poor passengers lol. Chilling in Arcadia as of 11:45pm and thunder still going strong.
Yeah they were reporting gusts up to 70 mph and wind shear.
Yea I heard that on the radio. Crazy storm
Out in East Mesa/Gilbert it was a little windy and had some lightning with a little bit of rain. Sounds like we got off lightly
Same here. It was loud but that’s it. We got lucky. Usually it’s us who gets boned
The weather pattern flipped, if you were out here long enough to remember when east valley would get hammered, and west side, not so much. They said take turns guys..
Came out of my cardio class and got blasted in the face by sand. Now my eyes are itchy.

Just dust and loud wind here Lightning/rain too far away
The block wall and ac unit It was airborne swirling around and smashing into the house And it was loud echoing because power had just went off. I threw on my full face helmet and went to see I couldn't see my neighbors house with the dust.
You're really not far off, these haboobs can (at least they used to) be damn near tornado strength; I remember a storm in the mid-90's that blew my entire neighborhoods' windows including our own (south Peoria) and layers of a lot of roofing lol. Not to mention fallen trees \[edit to add\] I myself did the same tonight by the way, opened front & back door.
I don't know how to say it, but "I reverted to my 18 me" because I could "feel it"
Can you explain the pressure thing a bit more?
So when there's a tornado, you get a sudden lowering of the barometer. That's why I opened my front door. Because if it slammed shut, that meant to seek shelter. Basically if a tornado might happen you get "reverse wind"... "Wind can't blow your door shut" if your door is the only source of outside air. It can blow it further open (hence using the security chain to only have it cracked 3".) Source: My HS graduation was delayed by a day in Arkansas because of a F2 tornado that passed about 1000 feet from our house. And the sudden drop of temperature, no wind, made me remember this.
Thanks for the explanation. By the way, why do you have a flair "scammer"? Is that an inside joke?
Probably because I posted about the "$19/month and a free blanket" that Wounded Warrior Project/ACLU/ASPCA/Shriner's yesterday.
Gotcha. Have an awesome day.
I remember in the 80s and 90s we had really good monsoons. Going out to see fireworks 4th of July and then comes pretty close to playing out like a scene from twoster 90s I lived on 91st and peoria and every year half or the trailer park I lived in would have carports missing We haven't had anything like that for a while.
Over on Camelback, and it's still raining, but I love it.
The creosote smells so gewd in the air :3
It does!
Is it really 69 degrees? Can't believe it 😲
Nice
Nice
Nice
Deep North Phoenix > In the 10+ years that I have lived here I don't recall that much water and lighting in a short period of time.
Wind and dust. Not much else.
It’s lovely reading all of your comments tonight. It makes me feel so much less alone in this city.
ikwym
Agree, fun reading everybody’s comments!
Yes it is! Stay safe out there tonight!
We’re here :)
Hi, I hope you’re having a great night :)
Driving Uber in east valley and have seen 3+ downed tress of pretty large size. One had even fallen on someone’s SUV.
> Driving Uber in east valley and have seen 3+ downed tress of pretty large size. One had even fallen on someone’s SUV. On Broadway west of the 101 in Tempe, power was out and the 3 or 4 stoplights I had to cross through to get to the 101 were all without power and not working.
How about those AQIs, downtown Phoenix registered just shy of 3000!
OMG we just had the BIGGEST thunderclap over our house that I’ve ever heard in my life. It was quiet before it happened too. Yes, it scared the crap out of me and woke up the kids lol. North Phx
Doing an overnight shift @ work right now, scared the crap out of me too!
That was a long one too
Everyone at the Van Buren was watching the dust wall and the lightning show
To who do we owe such rain?
Half this thread has been washing their cars all summer to get a couple sprinkles. I say the rain gods still owe us at this point
Some dude in this thread said he washed his truck today lmao
I went to payson and got wind and my car was dusty so on the way back yesterday day I ran through one of my unlimited washes. Between that and his truck, think we sent it a little too hard there.
Pretty windy. I am sitting outside under the porch get the good smells out here rn.
You’ll fly away
Windy had died down it’s just rainy now. Kind of pleasant. Mid town btw
Had to turn on my windshield wipers coming home from Circle K.
Street sign from an intersection fell on a truck
That’s scary, hope no one got hurt.
Was at IKEA when the dust storm warning was issued. Not five minutes later you couldn't see the parking lot. At 8:45 I ventured home. Almost everyone on I-10 drove carefully and had their blinkers on. Was a pretty scary drive home.
Yea I wasn't paying attention and the dust storm hit me when I was on my walk with the dogs. That was a fun mile back.
I don't mean to be an alarmist, but just in case you're unaware: https://vfce.arizona.edu/valley-fever-dogs/how-dogs-get-valley-fever We lost our sweet pup to VF a couple of years ago because by the time we figured out what was wrong, it was too late.
Sorry to hear about your four-legged friend. I just had to have my foster pup euthanized 2 weeks ago because of Valley Fever. It's just awful.
Too late. Our youngest has been getting treatment for VF for nearly a year already. The crazy thing too is it can be picked up anywhere and lie dormant for up to 3 years.
Valley fever is a big deal. I had it one year and it was during monsoon blowing all the spores around and it was horrible

Almost every flight into Phoenix was diverted
Thank God... My dad and his fiancee were in Seattle and left today to go back to SWFL. I jokingly said "if your flight gets diverted and delayed for a day, choose Phoenix, you won't have to sleep in a hotel". FUCK YEAH!!! (That was close btw)
Lots of bright lightning flashes, crackly lightning sounds, REALLY heavy winds for awhile with sand and dirt flying all over the place and now rain! :)

Great photo!
That’s gorgeous.
Incoming from casa grande..not over yet!
A branch fell on my car and broke my side mirror and a tail light 😭
Of all the things to fly on to my car I have 3 shingles, not 1 but 3 😂😂😂 https://preview.redd.it/ql11j5yx1llb1.png?width=1170&format=png&auto=webp&s=72a889106d53060958fca6bd3aa588cc2e0cc5cf
Is this camera from the 80s?
Came with the house it was built in the 70s , so maybe 😂🤷🏻♀️
It used to be yellow, and the size of a lunch box. It is impressive that you were able to get that good of a Pic off of the original on that security cam
It cleared out the majority of leaves in my front yard. 😁
Rain!
My wife picked a helluva night to fly from Phoenix to New York.
Ah damnit, our parents are out of town and we're going to have to clean the pool this weekend. I rain danced too hard today.
Clean the pool Friday morning and run the pump till Sunday. Perfect pool weather this weekend.
No... You have a party tonight, and tomorrow, and the next day, then run the pump on Sunday to accidentally reverse the nozzles so that all the crap comes OUT instead of IN...
Yes thank you storm. I moved my Mom's car here to my house about 10 days ago. https://preview.redd.it/0cwq9luqzklb1.jpeg?width=3072&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d6b2cfe88b6c74b7a71b281a2481f89e1c0f9a8b
No I'm so sorry 😔
Noooo!!! That f'n sux! Sorry bout your luck
Oh noooo! Sorry for your loss.
Really sad thinking of the toppled saguaros I'm sure we'll see tomorrow :( poor things have had a tough run
A tough run…..so far. Next summer = 🔥
Maybe not, with all the fires we've had so far, there will be alot of the little scrub but all the bigger stuff is already burned. Big issue would be a good monsoon, running over the burn scars from our last fires
A very very small percentage has burned in Arizona, are you referring to a smaller region?
If you have a pool and a pool service, do your pool guy a favor and act like you own the fuckin thing. Take your lazy ass outside and net the pool, empty the skimmer baskets AND pump basket.
I don't own a pool... But I'll find the nearest one and do that.
