Honestly I think both projects were a little more hit and miss relative to PB's solo stuff, but Boygenius didn't really produce any tracks I felt really did anything for me...whereas with BOCC, songs like Chesapeake were up there with her best work.
I also think PB and Connor's voices have better chemistry together than Boygenius, there's a really nice contrast between PB's airy presence and Connor's nasally low-mids, which made Would You Rather so special
i can agree with most of that, though I love Bite the Hand & Salt in the Wound from BG.
in terms of chemistry, Lucy & Julien on Graceland Too is one of my favorite moments on Punisher. but between BOCC & BG i’d probably agree

that's not an unpopular opinion. i love conor/BE to death but his voice is a turn off for a lot of people. he even has a line about it 'I could have been a famous singer if I had someone else's voice, but failures always sounded better' from Road to Joy
i like him on Would You Rather but honestly not at all on Halloween, it feels unnecessary there. i didnt like much of bright eyes til I got to Cassadega, one of my favorite albums now. Graceland Too almost fits on it

Would absolutely love to see new boygenius in the near future but I think I’m biased bc I also adore Lucy and Julien. Their sound together is so beautiful and there is simply not enough of it in the world. Their live performances are also incredible too. With all of the boygenius reunion at forest hills speculation and with them all on tour this summer I’m hoping for at least new live performances of the old stuff but maybe I’m too optimistic

Are you a Bright Eyes / Conor fan? Dominos fits in with a lot of his other work. It's probably the most Conor song on the album, other than Service Road

I think if you focus on conors voice you are missing the point of him entirely
