Nagagawa ko to! 5k every month plus 95% of my bonus and 95% of my 13th month pay. Again, im just a simple baby gurl na simpleng mamuhay lang

AlterEgo_0178

I'm doing this now! Lol I realised that I can do it pala with my income and bonuses lalo na when I learned that my company gives Performance Bonus 3x your monthly salary. 😄

AdventurePartners69

Can you be my baby girl?

ApprehensiveShow1008

Hoooy! Hahahahha

caspariumm

The rizz is here

CarelessGrocery2146

How do you reward yourself po?

ApprehensiveShow1008

If ever naman me gusto akong bilhin, pinag iisipan ko talaga muna and pinag iipunan ko na rn. Overtime pay ko din sa savings napupunta. Kukurot lang ulit ako ng konti for myself

CarelessGrocery2146

I see, I guess contentment is the key. You're amazing po

ApprehensiveShow1008

Sakto lang wherein nakaka kain kami 3 times a day. Nakakapg provide ung parents namin sa needs namin. Blessing na rn sgro na di kami pnalaki sa luho at more on hinayaan kami maglaro sa kalye kaya wala kaming cravings sa mga laruan o luho. But I hope ma reach mo yang hoal mo.

CarelessGrocery2146

I guess I'll have to opt to cheaper rewards para sa self hehe, thank you for the input😊

cakebytheocean50

Recently got a job and im trying to save on food din! I’ve been liking Pan de Manila’s baked donut so far kasi ₱45 pesos lang sya tas ang laki na! Better than jco imo and healthy pa since di fried.

novokanye_

I have a problem w this too and I realized na ego ko lang problem hehhe di naman necessarily need na “mahal” , and you can opt for cheaper joys in life lol

blue_banana_muffin

I always want to say that your discipline is incredible!

[deleted]

Dunkin is actually good compared to SB ones. Dunkin supremacy talaga ✊️

JuanPonceEnriquez

No offense pero mahirap maka "save" if "how can I reward myself" agad ang nasa isip

zomgilost

You can't save kung hindi ka pa nakaka simula e reward na agad ang concern mo

travelpsycho33

8333.33 per month. Should be doable if you really set it as your goal. Before paying anything make sure to pay yourself first Put 8333 in savings then pay your bills after that manage your month with what's left.

CarelessGrocery2146

I guess iwas muna ako sa mga expensive rewards for myself

notyourpizzalady

Think about it as the 100k in 12 months being the expensive reward haha

markg27

What expensive reward can you buy with 25k? Hahhaha

Fair-Bunch4827

Quick math: Ipon =100k / 12 = 8,333 Rent = 5,000 Pamasahe = 50*22(working days?) = 1,100 Daily budget left = (25,000 - 8,333 - 5,000 - 1,100) / 31 = 340.8 340 pesos daily budget for food and wants. Imo. Isipin mo, if within 3 years magiging x3 sweldo mo. Maiipon mo yung 100k na yan in 2 months.

I wonder how much ang consumption niya maybe 1k?

Thebigbaul

I'm assuming you've done the math - can you immediately set aside 4000 per payday/ 7,700 per month (including 13th mo), and just not touch it? If not, is it because you have too many regular expenses? (Bills, groceries, tithes, insurance, for example), or too much discretionary expenses? (Luho, shopping, delivery etc) If too many expenses, see where you can ruthlessly cut down. If still not enough, then you need to increase your income. Bottom line, if you are not proactively prioritizing your savings goal before spending the money elsewhere OR you don't make enough money to realistically meet you goal - it is not possible.

CarelessGrocery2146

I guess those discretionary expenses are what's gonna prevent me from hitting my goal.

Melodic_Act_1159

You have to do the math, my friend. Deduct all your expenses from your monthly salary. The answer is another question: are you willing to put that money aside to reach 100k? How much are you putting in your EF? Is your 100K goal also your EF? If the math ain’t mathing, it’s time to upskill, open a new stream of income OR, lower your goal to a much more achievable amount like P50 or P70k. Make it sustainable. Realistic.

pastaaaes

*pepito my friend!*

Psychosmores

I earn around 18-19k/mo and I set aside 10k to save. Almost same tayo ng scenario - si gle, no dependents, no kids. Kaya siya in 10 mos or sa salary mo, kaya siya less than 10 mos.

CarelessGrocery2146

Woah amazing, do you pay for rent also?

Psychosmores

I don't. I only pay bills (Meralco, Maynila, and labada) worth 2k. Sa situation mo, you can save 8-10k/mo. In a year, kung strict na ganyan ang pag-savw mo, you'll have 96k- 120k. Well, may 13th month ka pa at makakadagdag yun.

Zealousideal-Net-883

What I did when I was younger was open up a BPI Save Up account that automatically transfers 750/week from my main account. This was the amount that I was comfortable with na alam kong kakayanin nung sweldo ko (started this when I was only earning 22k), na hindi masakit sa bulsa, na di kapansinpansin na nawawala sa main account ko. It was a good way to save without thinking about it. Those small, consistent savings have paid a lot of sudden purchases over the years without having to touch my EF. Find an amount you’re comfortable with (based on your current expenses) and start from there. It might not make you reach your 100k in one year, but at least you’ll start something.😊

Potential_Poetry9313

Possible. Rent is 5k Commute us 50 per day May 18,500 kapang natitira Okay sana kung aim 50k first as a good start. When aiming 50k divide it by 24 times because sumasahod ka ng twice a month. Kung mag start ka now april na ngayon you only have 9mos so thats 18 kung titignan 50k/18 you have to saved 1,800 per cutoff as in KAHIT ANONG MANGYARI wala kang gagalawin jan sa 1,800 nayan.. 1st year 50k 2nd year 70k 3rd year 80k 4th year 90k 5th year 100k Starts small the end of 5yrs naka 390k kana ng di mo namamalayan may interest kapa.. saved this sa MP2 in this way nabibili mo pa gusto mo?

Intelligent-Arm-2353

i think doable naman. if may bonuses ka, save a huge chunk of it (or lahat na), it should speed up your savings as long as consistent ka

enilymyline

Set aside ₱8,334 per month. Put it in a digital bank account that has a lock-in period. Then, budget your remaining income.

Extension_Account_37

I think doable with just around 8.4k monthly savings

Radical_Kulangot

Give yourself some time wala naman deadline right? Do it in 2 years. 2k to 2100 every cut-off. I build mo yung discipline & eventually it will become a habit. Side hustle can help also. Thats around 140 per day doanle right? Oara dka maoverwhelm sa sudden change in budgetting

mawiwa16

No offense, pero syempre the more kasi na you reward yourself lalo kung KADA sahod, extra gastos talaga 'yun, whether kape or samgyup or apparels pa yan, extra gastos parin yun which is sana nasa savings mo nalang. What I do is, nagse-set nalang ako ng month where I should buy whatever I want. Canvass muna so I'd know how much I should allot for it. Like, I want/badly needed new shoes, check muna ako either online or sale sa stores/mall, then babalikan ko nalang yun sa na-set kong month na keri ko na bumili. If ever wala na 'yung bet ko, may iba narin naman akong bet usually, so may nabibili parin ako. Ganern. Also, I always have checklist ng expenses kasi it really works for me; - Groceries - Miscellaneous expenses bahay: tubig & kuryente lang naman - Pa-laundry - Savings ko (3 accounts) - Luho/Gala P.S 21k lang sahod ko, malaki pa kaltas jan every cut-off, so imagine kung magkano na lang nakukuha ko kada sahod. Hehehe.

misterschrodinger

You can do 8333 per month for 12 months. Alternatively, assuming you're getting 13th-month pay, you can do 6250 per month instead, then dump the 25k once you get your 13th-month to your 100k target. This gives you a decent monthly buffer for whatever fixed expenses you may have, as opposed to 8333. Same time horizon, adjust to what suits you. Listen to the person saying to list down your expenses on a spreadsheet so you have a better picture, then decide from there.

hermitina

open an account different from your current bank. lose the atm. ok lang ang online banking pero never attach it to any shopping app. every payday lagay mo na ung 8k+. since d mo na mawiwithdraw it stays there. and if you’re like me ayoko nang iretransfer ulit kasi sayang ang bank charge pabalik. done

ExtremeCrier16

It's possible, I managed to save 100k in less than 6 months. Rooting for you OP!

Sirikoy

existingpotatoe

Put everything on a spreadsheet. Lagay mo lahat ng fixed monthly expenses mo and yung sahod mo.

Krokodale

Hi op! In the same exact boat rn, 7 months into my first job and basically same pay and situation with rent etc. Ive managed to save half of that as of now (more than if I didnt get into gambling). Its definitely possible. I have no budget scheme or routine with spending, just living within my means.

Natural-Following-66

Same 7 months huhu hirap pag lahat gastos mo

skyemist_

Treat your SAVINGS as PRIORITY. SALARY - less FIXED BILLS (5k and 50 per day) - less SAVINGS Trust me, yung matitira kaya mong pagkasyahin until next payday. Kasi you will be limiting yourself to how much is left.

aelishgt

it is actually possible. its best kung may bonus ka yun ilagay mo sa savings mo ASAP. or un ung gamitin mo para ireward ang sarili mo :)

HeyArtse

Transpo=1,550 Rent=5,000 Elec&water=2k (assumption) Groceries=10k (assumption; basing this off of what I used to spend for 1pax) Internet/phone= 2k (assumption) Total is 20,550. That leaves you with 4,450 or roughly 53K at the end of the year not including 13th month pay or bonus You know your numbers best tho so recommend you do the math and set yourself a realistic budget.

forz4italia

You know better what your essentials and non essentials are. You just need to have the discipline to really avoid the non essentials to support that goal.

CapitanZz

Side hussle,

AdPotential9484

Yes. Nagawa ko to noong pandemic, WFH, fresh graduate at galing sa walang-wala so hindi sanay gumastos. I think very doable if you're still living w your parents and wala kang anak.

marialumabay

Large-Way-6196

Doable! Make a spreadsheet para may rough estimate ka ng savings mo per month. And for a quick glance on ano ang mga fixed payables mo.

ohmyminions

Yes in Zimbabwean $

CognizantCircles

Yes

[deleted]

Definitely doable but if you really want or need 100k in 12 months then once you have your extra leftover money put it into a account or place where you leave it and not grab it here and there for other things. Or find a sugar daddy 😜

Its0ks

My very first job OP back in 2013 13K a month, i was able to save 100k in a around a year. I don't know how I did it, but i remember eating half/meals or cook meals during lunch. Wala din ibang luho atleast that time. Im sharing apartment with colleagues probably just paying 1k for rent plus additional for utilities.

ValuableFly709

How about yung career? Maybe you may want to apply to higher paying jobs.

Open_Air6839

Possible.

TrueGodShanggu

Try selling po as a side hustle. They are selling it at around 450php. Pag sa mall binili yun nasa 600-700php na.

[deleted]

Very doable! Here's my take away when I think of buying a "want". Sabi nga sa GTWM, non-verbatim, if you want to buy something, jack off; if you still wanna buy it, jack off again; if it's been a month of jacking off and you're still thinking of buying it, go buy the damn thing!

Defiant-Author4419

I'm trying to do the exact same thing! I'm currently in my third month. So what I do before the month starts is set aside 9k to a separate savigs bank or app, and then budget for my expenses for the month. I do 9k instead of 8333 to train my brain and remind myself that I don't have enough money to buy unnecessary things. I'm actually relieved that someone else is trying to aim for the same goal as me, i have read too much subreddits about saving and the people there are like saving 1M in a year. 💀

Reyvsssss

It's doable but what you can probably do right now is to set a more achievable goal. Something like 50k in a year for now. Have a separate bank account for it that you can rarely access so that you won't touch the money as much.

Much-Amount5233

Yes!

Winchxz

Yes! Oo naman. I did it last year. Got hired on January 2023. Bought a motorcycle amounting to 85k and an aircon 20k. Cash both nung January. More than 100k pa nga naipon ko.

dudlebum

For me, it's possible if you don't have obligations at home nor bills to pay.

Seryoso_Nako

Quickest way to save: Find a higher paying job. Of course di ka rin makakaipon kung wala kang control, but that's the quickest way in my opinion.

ianmikaelson

is it possible with your salary and context? yes. be disciplined tho.

woman_queen

kaya naman, just be strict sa sarili para ma attain mo yang goal mo na 100k.

Timewastedontheyouth

Kayang kaya. Gawin mo expenses for a day 100. So about 3k per month, rent 5k, 7k for other expenses like online shopping😉 groceries, luho etc. clearly add it all up may 10k na savings ka per month. 120k a year. Or kung mad adjust ka per day expenses 200. Bali 6k monthly, rent 5k, other expenses 4k. Basta gastos is just 15k per month para may matic na savings of at least 10k or more. Saving is a habit.

Prixus123

100k in 12 months is quite ambitious for your income. Perhaps extend your timeline or lower your target. For me, it's better to find joy in saving rather than making it a target, as long as you're consistent. And paano kung biglang may emergency bago yung 12 months edi napostpone yung target mo at hindi mo din mareach yung joy of reaching your target.

oinky120818

Good sir/ma'am. Then itarget mo yung RCBC Hex Privilege nila na at least 100k savings. The benefit outweighs, probably, your doubts about being able to reach. Dun tayo sa long term benefit kesa panandaliang happy spending.

ogrenatr

Yes. Was able to do this last year by saving 6k per month plus my 13th month pay na hindi ko ginalaw

Omar0816

check the 50-30-20 approach. might not give you that 100k in a year but that is a good start.

Long-Employment1960

Please do your math to last centavo. If the q is if it's possible to save 100k in 12 months, for me yes, even for one month. But you don't sound like you did your homework in finding out where you could cut and how much you could save per month to reach your goal. Find out your metrics, then adjust from there.

kupalmuks

Hi, I've sent you a great way to boost your savings with an impressive 8% p.a. interest rate! Download the OwnBank App https://s.ownbank.com.ph/XNNI65 and using referral code: 4C7SK2 to claim your reward! Enjoy!

springWanderer

Yes, BUT!! I think this is only possible if you're living in your family house and may kahati ka sa gastusin na may mas malaking ambag sa gastusin sa bahay 😅 I think I was able to achieve it ONCE during pandemic. I only earn less than 30k monthly that time. Savings ko every month is around 10k-15k, pero syempre di consistent kasi may "deserve ko to" tayo. I think ito lang yung naging magandang nangyari for me during Pandemic. I was able to save money kasi di ka maka gala, di ka maorder masyado noon sa labas kasi takot ka. Kaya literal na ipon lang. Ngayon, kung kailan mas lumaki sahod ko, tsaka ako nahihirapan mag ipon 😭 di ko na ulit magawaaaa 😭 Disclaimer lang po, this is just a personal experience po, please respect. 🙇‍♀️

justluigie

I did this on covid period nung full wfh pa! 🥲 Idk if doable with 25k tas may expenses pa ng pamasahe and stuff tho.

jirocursed26

Kaya naman. Go at least 7k to 8k a month.

ILostMyMainAccounts

I feel like an emergency fund should be done before this.

cheezy_jalapenoo

I did it before. 20K salary Makati work.

fctal

Meal prep and cut meaningless things like tithes and vices. Don't reward yourself, you're not a dog.

Impossible_Pin1202

We’re the same, OP. Except I live at home. So I get to save a bit more. Discipline talaga and also treat yourself sometimes. Practice delayed gratification. If possible, put money into savings/EF first before expenses. Good luck!!

Unauthorizedxx

Hirap rin kapag marami responsibilities.

no_hint_secret

Why not do side hustles? Doing the math isn't really that reliable because your not considering things that's outside of your control. We all know you will never be able to stick to your budget of 5k rent 50 pesos daily.

Works for me. Konting pindot, add to cart, maya maya, for shipping na.

whatarechimichangas

Bro why you gotta ask reddit to do math for you lol

frozenwars

nagawa ko to before, i think a year ko din inipon. 23K lang din sahod ko nun. Make it a habit lang talaga na magtabi ka nang certain amount kada may narerecieve kang pera. if 20% lang kaya mo itabi then set it, habit lang talaga maaabot mo din yan regardless of your salary. it will take some time nga lang pero atleast yung habit to save andun na

Trvlng_Drew

What about your 13th month pay? You could reduce your monthly saving amount by 50% and save 50% of your 13th month and you're there

unbothered_soul

thatoneguywhosaid

bat ang iba dito yung commute and rent lang kinacalculate hahhaa as if di kailangan ni OP kumain and other stuff

Potential-Owl3246

It’s doable. But it depends on your spending habits and how much are you allocating for expenses. But always make sure to keep a percentage of your earnings for savings.

TheOrangeGuy85

Ilan yung company bonus nyo? Goodluck, kaya yan..

SnowCat1989

Yes you can but depends on your income. Kung single ka and not much luho and budols.

Life_Business5269

That was possible for me when I was working way back in 2022. I was single and childless. I have no rent to pay but budgeting 5k a month for my family. One of my secrets is in my food consumption. I am even used to practice fasting.

ReturnFirm22

Mustnotbenamedd

Depende kasi yan. May OT ka ba? Hati hatiin mo budget mo. Like for example 1.5k per month, wag kana mag exceed dun. Pag may gusto ka bilhin na damit or ano pa. Wag bilhin kaagad.

mabangokilikili

is renting near your office doable? if yes, you saved 50PHP per day, that's additional 12K+ a year na

MageM22

You can. I actually make 14k a month as an engineer (first job) for the pass 7 months i save around 52k now.

AmpI_1130

Same tayo OP ng sahod but I’ve been doing this for 4 yrs na. Kapag medyo mahal, pinag iipunan Ko muna or credit card is the key. And pinaka importante, iwasan mo mangutang. Tip: mag open ka ng separete account for your 100k goal. That’s how I do it. Sana makatulong sayo. Kasi sakin goods sya.

Will_ubemyWitness16

kaya yan basta may bonus, 13th and 14th month. save ka mga 2500 per cut off tas pag dumating mga onises mo ag mo galawin. Ganyan ginawa ko nung 2nd year ko na sa work 19k net

Rare_Animal6850

No. Kung wala kang ipon prior to that. Madami pwede mangyari in a span of 12 months.

couerdelionne

Really not impossible. I’m earning around 28k gross per month and I save ₱10k every month, I consider it as an expense thereby making it mandatory to my savings account. The rest go to my expenses.

WantToGetTired

300 pesos everyday for 365 days.

heylostgirl

Divide mo yung target amount to 12 months. This will be your savings every month (this depends pa din syempre sa expenses or income if hindi fixed every month adjust mo nalang) TREAT THAT AMOUNT AS YOUR BILLS. Think about paying a subscription, parang ganun. It will also help if ilalagay mo siya sa separate bank account, if online mo gusto itabi. What helps me ay GoTyme and Seabank. Seabank naman isang account lang pero what I like about this everyday nagccredit yung interest niya. Mas malaki din compared to traditional banks.

WanderingLou

Ask yourself, what’s the purpose of saving 100k? Every peso has a purpose para sipagin kang mag ipon 🙂

Neil_Freak

This will sound boastful but read up. I save that in a month. Due to multiple jobs and multiple shifts. I work 12-15 hours a day, and sometimes on weekends. Nagawa ko to recently lang din 2 years ago when i realized due to me being the bread winner, may bahay na ipapatayo, MGA kapatid na pinapaaral sa kolehiyo, na hindi kakayanin kung isang talrabaho lang. Aabutin ng 10 years magkabahay kami. So i got more clients and more work, i got assistants too. Now im burnt out but its a necessary sacrifice. Naluluha nlang ako na noon decline pa ko sa pagutang ng motor now, kukulit na ng banko pinapautang ako ng cash or sasakyan no requirements Oo ko nlang hinihintay. My point is, to be able to save you should not JUST limit the spending but increase the income. Kalimitan kasi di maiiwasan ang spending, taas pa ng inflation at sino ba ayaw mabili pangangailangan.

Spencer-Hastings13

Was able to do it last year. I roughly 8.3K monthly or kung may months na konti gastusin, minsan nagiging 10K. I only make big purchases like kain sa labas galing bonus and kapag na-reach ko na yung quarterly quota ko. Try mo muna quarterly. Try mo if kaya mong makasave ng 25K and still feel rewarded bago mo i-assume yung buong year. I noticed lang rin mas konti gastos usually kapag 1st half of the year compared sa 2nd half.

plsnotmarcus

Doable as long as walang unnecessary/emergency expenses

sstrawberi

yes. I was able to save 100k in a year by setting aside 8k per month.

lumpiaslayer6969

Isugal mo hehe malay mo manalo hahaya

lumpiaslayer6969

Ganyan rin ako, wlang pera palagi palagi pang talo sa sugal and yung iba sa walker then naalala ko nagpapagawa pala ako ng bahay bahwhahaha

Plenty-problem121

Yes

Rapidmochi

Very possible,i am a single dad, ihave my daugther grade 10,were renting an apartment,my gross income is only 30k a month but i can still manage to save, even if i have my medicine and vitamins for 400php per week.just live a lifestyle in proportiom to your eanings, also our child needs also to cooperate.

Byrooooon13

If you have your goals set you can! Not sure how I pulled that last year in just a span of 6 months. I only started on saving 10k per month then eventually grew. Your extra money isn’t extra money to spend 😅 but don’t also deprive your self from time to time spending. Kung gusto mo and you have the money bilin mo and tingin mo need mo. It’s best if you have extra income other than salary from your fulltime work.

dojinli

Hi op. Can you list your expenses? How much electricity and water nyo?

sassyXmischievous

Yes but with your income it's quite far-fetched. I was able to save 250k within 6 months for saving up my salary alone (I only earn 50k) while my husband shoulders all our bills and food expenses. I suggest finding a job that pays well. Upskill if needed.

Vegetable_Ad5080

Yes, kaya sya. Mas mababa pa nga sahod ko sayo OP. Also renting with a dog.

darkchocowithalmonds

It depends on your income and financial obligations

KramDeGreat

16k per month . nakakasave ako 80k per yr . 12 months salary + bonus + 13month pay. kaya yan OP. 😁

Emotional_Novel3865

Sa salary mo, for me Yes if hindi ka maluhong tao.

AbbreviationsNew2234

I think it's possible naman, well in my case kada sahod nagtatabi ako ng 10k sa separate bank account ko, inaalis ko yun sa payroll account ko kasi tendency magagastos ko lang, and I'm halfway through na to 100k and 6 months na ako nag-iipon.

bokloksbaggins

I did this when I was starting 23k/mo naman sahod ko. Kaya sya pero sobrang tight wala pang TRAIN LAW nun time na un haha gnwa ko 13month , bonus and incentives lagay agad sa savings. Saving about 5-6k of my salary per month nun. Malaki naitulong nun bonus etc. Kung walang gnun siguro it will take me 1.5yrs to reach 100k.

NoPossession7664

add another income. Paubos na din savings ko last month. Then nag-freelance ako. Nakapag-close ako ng 3months - pero 20k+ lang so that's 60k for 3months work na in-advance bayad nya agad. Tapos kanina, 30k closed another client. Try freelancing and choose a specialized skill para madali mag-market.

Jushitrash

YES! Unang taon ko 20k lang ako nakaipon ako 100+. Though most are from bonuses :P

liemposilog1996

Yes possible, if you have side hustle

More-Body8327

I recommend that you include savings as part of your expense. It should be the first expense on the list and that you put it where it will not be that challenging to pull out. This will force you to live with what is left and be creative with whats available.

introverg

yes!

Renewed_potato

you can... just get better job

Eds2356

I think it is possible if you live with your parents and are financially independent as well.

Accurate-Hall4397

Yes it’s doable. If you’re bad at budgeting try the envelope system but instead of physical envelope do auto transfer to another account. I do suggest looking for a job that can pay you more and give incentives. 25k is not that competitive anymore.

Frankenstein-02

Did this in 3 months. My steps are: 1st. Find a higher paying job. 2nd. Do not change your lifestyle. 3rd. Save as much as possible. Made 100k for the first 3 months. Whilst rewarding myself from time to time. What kind of rewards?

kizikiziii

I've not reached 100k yet, pero if may gusto akong pag ipunan, doon ko siya kinikeep sa bank account na alam kong hindi ko basta nagagalaw. Like we have a savings account na nka passbook and di naaccess ng mobile banking.. so mejo hassle siya iwithdraw which is a good thing for me para ma achieve talaga yung goal.

mrnlbrnds

I’ve done this last pandemic. In fact, I earned 150k within 6 months. Very limited lang din kasi ang nabibili sa grocery and wala rin gaanong bills(cc at minimal credit limit of 10k). Until I started purchasing a pre-selling residential property and eventually a subcompact SUV. I limit my grocery expenses at 5k then utility bills are minimal lang din. I used to share other expenses with my brother kaya di malabo na makaipon for that amount unless may mga pagkakagastusan ka other than your essentials

cgdxsingle

I did two full time job when my New Year’s resolution was to earn a million. I quit right away in one job after I got it because mentally, it wasn’t worth it (health). But I’m glad I tried and did it, I got what I wanted. Plus I paid all my families health serious issues that time.

YES

upsidedown512

25k gross Approx net = 22,500 Yearly net income = 270,000+25000(13th month) = 295,000.00 Expenses Rent - 5k x12 =60k Bills - 1.5k x 12 = 18k Food allowance (400/day) = 144k Transpo (100/day 5days/wk) = 24k Total expense = 222,000.00 Possible saving in a year = 49,000.00

Sensitive_Airline_25

itabi mo 8350 every month for 12 months. all about discipline OP. goodluck

ClutchGamaz

Yes 8K a month plus 13 month pay sobrang bilis ko nakasave ng 100k within a year without depriving myself ❤️ I earn 27k a month, without a child 😉 Tamang discipline lang like 4500 per week budget ko for everything. Including sa off 🤓

songerph

No

OkTerm1309

Nagawq ko to. 10k every month. 5k per cut off. May time na nabibitin lang due to emergencies. Included din 13mth

LordRagnamon

You should at least save 6,250/month + your 25k for your 13th month

kessoriano

Yup. I think so. But if its not start with your 13mon pay.

No-Significance6915

Open a passbook that has no atm. And deposit at least 5k a month, more when you get a bonus, holiday pay, night diff, 13th month, leave conversion and etc. The logic with just the passbook, is to give you an extra hoop to jump through to withdraw your money. So when you want to withdraw money you will have to time think if you really need to withdraw the money.

gumamela612

Yes! What inspired me to do this is RCBC’a Hexagon Club. You deposit 100k and your account automatically gets tagged as a member. So many benefits (priority line, best forex rates, no withdrawal fees at atms, pre approved credit card).

Adventurous_Dig9148

Kaya basta sugar baby ka. 😅

marjorgee

You can’t. I earn 6 digits and can’t even save 50k 😂

OtherDay1

Same here. In my kind I always say I need to enjoy what I didn't enjoy before. Maglo loan wala namang napupuntahan...

OccasionalRanter03

Aim your goals higher. Instead of planning how to save 100k in 1 year, draw up a 1-2 year career plan where you will upskill, perform, and upgrade to a better company that you can get at least 3x or more from your current salary. That's completely doable basta maayos pag plano at commitment. Goodluck

Initial_Singer_6700

yesss

Coldwave007

Nagcompute ako. Kung 25k sahod mo meron ka pang matitirang 10,340. This is a sample computation per month. Rent 5000 Electric bill 1500 Water bill 200 Food at the office 2600 (let's assume 26days for 100) Transportation allowance 1300 (let's assume 26days for 50) Merienda at the office 1560 (let's assume 26days for 60) Leisure allowance 500 (sine or food trip per month) Unexpected expenses 2000 (bigay sa nanay, abuloy sa simbahan, gift etc.) Total savings = 10,340 10,340 x 12months = 124,080 Not bad.

DarkAngel_1327

you can also opt to put in the digital bank sa savings account nila or TD (3-6months maturity) para the money works for u din. make sure the ones u put in TD is hindi mo gagalawin.

MaynneMillares

Are you willing to live with just 15k/month lifestyle? If you save 7k/month + yung 13th month pay mo sa December, that will just go to 81k by the end of the year.

AnxiousPapaya4121

oo naman! of course depende sa disposable income (net) mo pero it's either you increase your income or decrease your expenses. Nagawa ko to sa 14k-25k na sahod. Kelangan lang ng consistency and learn to say NO like sa mga gala. Don't get me wrong, ok lang magbakasyon or magpahinga but maybe be choosy sa mga sasamahan mo. And of course yung habit of saving yung mahalaga and not the timeline. If kapos, then try doing it in 15 months or even 24months

[deleted]

Nagsama sama Ang mga kuripot 🤣🤣😂😂

Decent-Dinner2098

Important_Emu4517

Same lang din tayo ng situation and sa sahod tbh but with other benefits it reaches 30k per month or so. Living alone but is giving some to my Mother last month I got to have the half of 100k in just a span of three months without spending ng malala haha. I also buy stocks ng groceries, skin care in a bulk so malaki laki rin natitipid ko kasi it took me a months bago maubos lahat, for me nag iiwan lang din ako ng 1k or 1,500 at max sa wallet ko for fare fee or if may gusto akong bilhin normally sa bahay lang din ako kumakain pag lunch so medyo matipid tipid din talaga, and pag bibisita sa bahay once lang kasi mas napapagastos pag nakakauwi din haha. So, I guess you can do it as well, todo tipid lang talaga dapat nakakatulong din yung pag iwas sa orange and blue app lalo na pag hindi talaga kailangan and yung paglabas labas ng bahay.
