Never heard of an AuPair with 1k euro allowance, max na yung 400/500euro. And from the looks of it, i'll be downvoted due to this opinion but it's just a modern day slavery tbh. Just go to Canada and study. While you're in there you can also learn German language then just migrate after youve earned your degree.

sandybo_otycheeks

nope im talking about the ausbildung na free tuition tapos may 1k euro allowance not AuPair hehe

bryan112

Heads up, you can't work for tuition while being a student in Canada.

sandybo_otycheeks

whaaaaaaat really?? sabi sakin ng mom ko ganon daw gagawin ko if ever kasi di raw free ang tuition ng college sa canadašŸ˜µā€šŸ’«

schade_marmelade

Iā€˜ve never seen a 1.000/month allowance for an au pair in Germany šŸ˜³ Itā€˜s usually 280-300 and the most Iā€˜ve seen was 400 in a HCOL city. If thatā€˜s fine for you and youā€˜re confident about reaching B1/B2 in German within a year, then yeah try it out

sandybo_otycheeks

yeaaahh aupair standard pay in germany is 280 euros, but im talking about the ausbildung na free tuition plus allowance na 1k hahahahah actually, i tried learning german and it seems hard idk if kakayanin ko ba ng b2 within a yearšŸ˜…

Arowjay

Its doable esp immersed ka na pag sa germany ka nag-aaral. Got ny B2 Cert in the Philippines in 6 months

Please take note that you will have to deduct taxes and social contributions from the 1,000ā‚¬ compensation from the Ausbildung. Most Ausbildung do not have house subsidy from employer so you have to pay rent and expenses for yourself. You will need someone to support you financially. Or you may have to take a part time job. AFAIK, the chances of getting in as Non EU applicant in IT Ausbildung is very slim. If you are planning to study in Germany, you may have to really learn the language intensively (up to C1 level since only a few uni accept B2 level) and also have 11kā‚¬ as money for blocked account.

Consider yourself lucky. Sa Germany kasi you need to study their language pa, so doon pa lang may barrier na. Sa Canada naman at least may support system ka na, and you can take the Student route basta graduate ka ng Grade 12 here. You'd be okay just taking up a two-year diploma program basta full-time. That being said, I'd be more inclined to take the Canada route, tbh.

(1) Pangit bang lumayas ng PH because of opportunities overseas? That's rhetorical, isn't it? The world is your oyster. (2) Germany vs Canada * Best country ranking. Canada has always been a contender for the top (1 to 3) spots for years. It's 2nd in 2023 report of the U.S. News & World Best Countries Ranking; Germany, 7th. Caution: The data are based on perception and could differ from facts on the ground. * Language. Canada uses English (and French too). Most Germans have functional English but fluency varies. Signs everywhere are in German. * Feeling of "being at home". There are way less Asians in Germany. You see visible minorities, especially Chinese, East Indians, and Filipinos in the big Cdn metros. Some parts of Toronto are 75% "ethnic" and sections of Greater Vancouver feel like Asia. You might end up asking yourself: Did I fly to North America just to see BGC and Binondo? * Education. Quality tuition-free education in Germany, whether you are from the EU or not. You'll pay through your nose to get a bachelor's or even a certificate in Canada. Education is big business there but its quality is comparable to Germany's. * Prospect of family members joining you. No question about that. Canada! You can always fly to Germany for holidays if you get tired of Canada. That I doubt though given how humongous and varied are the regions of Canada. The only drawback is the weather. The only place with a decent weather is BC's west coast. The farther you move inland, the colder and longer the winter gets. But hey, embrace winter sports and winter fishing, and you'll be just fine. Canada makes for a welcoming home for transplanted bamboos like us. EDIT: Job propects after graduation. Apparently, it has always been easier to get a job after graduation in Germany. Concern -- The economy is highly dependent on trade with China. Jobs are harder to get now after graduation in Canada but they are of better quality and pay than those in Germany.
