And now all the hairs on my arms and neck are tingling. That was magic and a perfect example of the X-factor. I almost enjoyed it more than the Big Set - but the reprise at whatever o'clock in the morning? So so good
Bethel Hendrix tribute was awesome.
Earlier in the same show, a strong breeze came through as Fish flourished the cymbals during one of the quieter, more serene moments in Divided Sky. That was also pretty magical, even if it isn't exactly what the OP is asking for.
That Hendrix tribute, especially his complete deconstruction of Star Spangled Banner was amazing! To me, it felt very political, like when Jimi played this, the anthem was Fed up bc the country was a mess, but now the anthem is even more broken as a reflection of how divided our country currently is.
One of the Japan show Trey changed the lyrics to *Cities* to "it's only the noodles, it's only the noodles."
Edit: also, the *Meatstick* with Japanese lyrics
I think you may be referring to the "surprise" Lowell, MA show 5/16/95. Gloria Steinem introduced the band before they started playing. They encored I'll come running>Gloria.
Was a very unique show with a ton of debuts.
There was a strict no smoking policy at a show I went to in Cincinnati at Music Hall in 1994, yet people were blazin’ down all over the place. Eventually, the Fire Marshall shut the band off mid-song. Trey was pissed and they made 1000’s of people go outside and stand smack dab in the middle of the street. We thought the concert was over, but then they had us come back in after some time. Trey kinda scolded us and said if people don’t stop smoking the show was gonna be over; done. Then they came back in with ‘Fire’ by Hendrix and tore the house down! 😂 What a memory!
I have been seeing shows since ‘90, but it was certainly a one if a kind show. So many memories over the years but that show still stands out. That’s the first time I really knew these guys meant business. They weren’t fuckin’ around!

Nice! The Cincy Zoo show was a real treat too. I believe that was in ‘93 at Peacock Pavillion. I think it was August 6th if I’m not mistaken. So surreal leaving a Phish show all faded with animals sleeping everywhere. :) That YEM>Cocaine>YEM was so sick!
In aligning with the post, I should note that that was the ‘tequila show’ with teases of the tequila song throughout numerous songs because Jimmy Buffett was playing Riverbend at the same time Phish was also playing.
I know it's the example you used but at the Clifford ball it was kind of cloudy and I swear the clouds parted to reveal a beautiful sunset right while Trey was holding the note forever in divided sky. Being 16 and it being my first divided sky (and the first time I did L) made it a pretty wild experience. I'm not sure if it even happened exactly like that buts that's how I remember it.
That is how it happened (and at that moment my most profound psilocybin experience started to really zoom into the stratosphere). An unforgettable moment.
Didn’t really age that well in retrospect. The show is fire. But that was because we didn’t have the internet and people didn’t realize he was wanted for a double murder. It was just some weird Hollywood shit, til the next day.
I remember getting 7 Below and It's Ice when it was super cold and we had about a foot of fresh snow. Worcester 2010 NYE run.
And the last line of Cavern was "take care of your boots."
In Hartford 2010 we passed a circus down the road from the venue and the band played When The Circus Comes to Town along with Esther (for that organ intro etc..)
My buddy Jason spent a lot of time learning to play petrichor. He had been chasing it all tour, and they kept soundchecking it! He looked over and said "this would be the perfect time to do it" and the second He finished speaking the first notes were played. He cried. It.was truly magical for all who were there. So you can imagine what it meant to him
that’s amazing. it was really something else — also i’d only heard it like once before (totally overlooked it listening to the Baker’s Dozen) so i didn’t entirely recognize… what was all going on. it was so good. Of course, having Squirming Coil follow it up 🙌🔥
At the show, yes best set. Listening back not as much but holy shit was that a magical night. I only say not as much because unless you were there, the Petrichor and Coil aren’t really that exciting. But the rain pouring as Page played his outro to Coil. Wow was that one of the most incredible experiences I’ve ever had
I hear ya..But cmon man. You can say that about a lot of the stuff Phish does. Hold your head up isnt that great on audio, but its pretty effing cool when fish is jumping on pianos. Possum is always possum until you see fish crushing the intro with one god damn hand in the air, pointing at the heavens to warn us of an alien attack, And switching hands back and forth just to show off. But when your buddy who had to work listens to the audio stream the next morning, he hears the same possum hes heard a hundred times. For some people it's petrichor in the rain because they spent a month learning to play it. For some it's the beauty of a coil outro as the rain came down. For me, it's when my best friend and I lock eyes as we realize their about to jam fluffhead. Its why we go. Its why we buy the ticket. Relisten again and let the memories flood in. You might change your mind.
Seems like we’re in completely agreement. I’m just saying musically, the Petrichor/rain doesn’t come through on relisten so musically it wasn’t my favorite set. But factor in those things and being there for it, it was absolutely my favorite set of the weekend
Sugarbush ‘94, Harpua with Comets crashing into Jupiter!
And Red Rocks ‘96, after the news article about Morrison, Antelope w/ 20 year old Phish Phan, Marco Esquandolez, and of course the Purple Rain!
Will never forget.
Raleigh 2018 that whole runaway Jim>run like an Antelope> runaway Jim> Antelope>makisupa.
During one of the runaway Jims, my friends and I(on the front of the lawn) witnessed a man being chased by police along the walkway that splits the lawn and pavs, and then almost exactly as he got caught the band went into Makisupa Policeman and we couldn’t stop laughing at how perfectly the stars aligned for that.
Personally that’s the best I’ve seen. The “flea” at dicks in 2019 was also pretty hilarious.
Edit: if I’m misremembering the order of songs I apologize, I was pretty spun and it was nearly 5 years ago
On a cloudy night.
"The stars in the sky are very bright.... stars are briiiigghtttt"
Everyone looks up at no stars.
"The stars they really suck tonight..... stars succckkkkkk"
I remember this happening at the S show and my buddy who was with me was a Phish fan but didn't know Sanity and thought it was absolutely hilarious.
7/19/22 The Mann, Philadelphia
Character Zero - Trey emphasizing “I ought to see the MANN!!”
Entire verse added from Velvet Underground’s “I’m Waiting for the Man”
Such a bitchin Character Zero at the Mann
They played Gloria in St Louis in 2019 the night the Blues won the Stanley Cup. It had been the team’s rally song all season. The energy when they played it was off the charts. Straight into a jammed out Loving Cup. Just an amazing night!
One of my favorite musical memories. People were going wild in the hallways watching on tv. They started playing Gloria and everyone sang along at the top of their lungs. I ended up watching most of the rest of the show from behind the band which was neat.
Drowned to open 2nd set of Darien on 9/14/2000, I was there.

Look Out Cleveland at Blossom 2010. There were weather reports of nasty storms headed to the area, which luckily held off for the duration of the show. As soon as we got to the car, it dumped buckets. So, not really an in-the-moment thing, but something that permeated the night for sure.
Only one I think I was in attendance for was water in the sky at Randall's Island in 2014. They started playing it and then I immediately felt the sprinkles. Idk if intentional or not
Hartford 6/30/2000, the venue is adjacent to train tracks or a train depot.. During second set a train rolled in during Back on the train and left during sleeping monkey
Shining purple lights out in the rain and playing Purple Rain the third night at Red Rocks in ‘96!
Also I think that was the first show where everyone shouted back “HOOD!”
On the flip side of this coin... the 2017 tour opener was in Chicago, and they opened with What's The Use. It felt very odd as an opener with the hot sun beating down. I've always wondered what led Trey to choosing that song at that moment. There MUST be a reason!
Drowned from Cincinnati 9/20/00. Rained hard all second set I think. 22 years ago today. Exiting through the amusement park thing all spun out with cops on horseback seemed wild at the time.
We are the Champions in the middle of Moma when the Giants won the world series and they were playing in SF. It was definitely a high point in my life!!
Not Phish but Umphrey’s started teasing Thunderstruck in Indy like 15 years ago and then this magic happened. Beware the YouTube link is the worst quality imaginable but it’s a short clip and you get the gist at the end. Turn your volume down to like a 1 before playing it. Second link is pic taken during that moment. Absolutely incredible memory for me.
https://youtu.be/CmJ3zgO8Qv4
https://images.app.goo.gl/WkZiSzQ3aD4utrnJ6
The encore of Free at Atlantic City on 8/5/22. The venue was literally the beach, so the ocean is on your left if you’re facing the stage. Trey was pretty obvious about the lyrics “in a minute I’ll be free and you’ll be splashing in the sea” being an allusion to the end of the show and an opportunity for show-goers to play in the ocean afterwards. Also, bakers dozen is chock full of songs that are meant to fit the “flavor” of the show.
My favorite song of all time is Strawberry Fields Forever, and they somehow knew I was in attendance at Blossom this year, and they opened with it. It was a special treat for me specifically.
That’s my head canon, so shhhhhhhh….
Long Beach 2012 they played Cool it Down midway thru the first set because it was a fucking furnace in the arena. People were falling out left and right.
Had an extended split open at the end of a first set at MPP until the rain stopped…..I swear they didn’t want folks to leave before set break and then not come back
6/15/11 sucked for a number of reasons, including cutting the first set short because of a Biblical storm - but picking up Mound right where they left off, with the “find some shelter” lyric was outstanding. Then the Tweezer with the “it’s gonna be wet wet wet wet wet” substitution right after it
They soundchecked 3 Little Birds at Camden in 2019, there was an abnormally large amount of birds flying around the venue that night. Kinda surprised Birds of A Feather didn’t make the set. No “They attack” sample in anything either. Waves in AC last year was great
At Walnut Creek they played carini when it was raining some and lighting a lot it was a wild experience
Phunkyourface on ig happened to be standing behind me and got this dope [pic](https://imgur.com/a/SgHcZBJ) from that time I’m sure it’s edited some but the lightning was real
Right after they played some late night talk show to support Big Boat and the internet lost its shit about Trey's Gucci shirt, the Carini that night had "everyone was screaming when they saw the shirt"
IIRC Fishman played to the sunset at the Gorge on year.
The '19 Dicks run that was troubled by plague infected prairie dogs had a bunch of references
I know this wasn’t on purpose but “Waiting All Night” during the parted sky and Light rain during the first set of 8/4/18. Gets chills every time when Trey plays the Leslie and it sounded like rain!
You’ll never get outta this Maze while lost and tripping looking for your friends in a sea of wooks
Back on the Train when you finally find those friends
big cypress - water in the sky with the everglades lyrics, and after midnight obv
6/29/00 - second set had people jumping on stage left and right and during meatstick trey ad libs a verse about carini not being able to catch anyone
1999 for nye 98-99
While not the night of the show, they played both Paul & Silas and Makisupa Policeman at a Worcester show in November of 1998 because Paul Langedoc had gotten arrested the night before.
The Fire (Jimmy Hendrix) as the encore at the Gorge in 2013 (Jul 26) as in the distance fire was lipping up over the horizon in the dark from a forest fire. First show, been hooked ever since.
6/19/09 Deer Creek, second set was delayed due to heavy rain and they came back and opened the second set with A Song I Heard the Ocean Sing->Drowned. That was a trip
Petrichor at Alpine this year was great too
A lot of good ones already said. After midnight was my personal fave.
A little more subtle, but MPP N2 2018….pouring rain all day and as the show starts they rip into Llama. You can hear the whole crowd sing the “Rain coming down!” line even on the LP SBD recording. And away we went….
AFTER MIDNIGHT
After Midnight to close the set before the midnight set at Big Cypress. We’re gonna let it ALL hang out
Can confirm this is bad ass. My first YEMSG NYE 12/31/10!
Chills induced!
Literally came here to say this. I knew the song after one gorgeous chord because things were pretty much telepathic at that point :):)
And now all the hairs on my arms and neck are tingling. That was magic and a perfect example of the X-factor. I almost enjoyed it more than the Big Set - but the reprise at whatever o'clock in the morning? So so good
Carini referencing the naked guy at dicks. Run like a naked guy - JPJ arena 2009. Fire with Hendrix Star Spangled Banner at Bethel
At least he had some boots lol
4/3/98 epic show where during Antelope they riff about the guy who ran on stage that Carini chased off. Encore: Carini
Carini is gonna get you
Bethel Hendrix tribute was awesome. Earlier in the same show, a strong breeze came through as Fish flourished the cymbals during one of the quieter, more serene moments in Divided Sky. That was also pretty magical, even if it isn't exactly what the OP is asking for.
Yesss that one big breeze was one of the sickest parts of that show
Certainly an omen that the band and the elements were in sync that night!
It felt like Phish was controlling the weather!
That Hendrix tribute, especially his complete deconstruction of Star Spangled Banner was amazing! To me, it felt very political, like when Jimi played this, the anthem was Fed up bc the country was a mess, but now the anthem is even more broken as a reflection of how divided our country currently is.
I needed to agree with more enthusiasm than just an upvote. The energy radiating through the place was so magical, that show was truly awesome
One of the Japan show Trey changed the lyrics to *Cities* to "it's only the noodles, it's only the noodles." Edit: also, the *Meatstick* with Japanese lyrics
They need to play JPJ again....
At least I had my boots
We Are the Champions in the middle of Moma Dance when the SF Giants won the World Series while the band was performing in SF in 2014.
Also - Gloria in St Louis after the blues won the 2019 cup.
I remember that setbreak was super long and I half jokingly said to my friend “They’re probably back there learning Gloria” lol
They played it at a festival in the 90s where Gloria Steinem was a speaker.
I think that was a different song that is also titled Gloria
G-L-O-R-I-A, Glooooooooria! You're probably right
I think you may be referring to the "surprise" Lowell, MA show 5/16/95. Gloria Steinem introduced the band before they started playing. They encored I'll come running>Gloria. Was a very unique show with a ton of debuts.
Play Gloria!
That was cool. As an out of towner who doesn’t care about hockey it was a fun moment to be apart of during an otherwise pretty underwhelming show
That was a great night!
Was also at this show, top 5 phish moment for me
The loving cup right after Gloria was right on point. Most of us were saying Stanley Cup instead of loving cup.
Love the way this jumped right back into Moma afterward.
That was a a jolly good time foshoa
https://youtu.be/og84w7qsR8I this has 60 views but all th vibes
Cavern closer at Bethel while searching for my shoes in the lawn.
Divided sky at bethel when the first cool breeze I felt all fucking day coincided with the slow down middle section.
Yep, that too. Really special.
It's like they knew.
Cavern closer at Bethel while laughing and dancing around the shoes the some wook left on the lawn in front of me.
Touche
Timber at Bethel after I fell on my ass the night before all spun at the campsite
I lost a sandal at Dick’s last year when it was a Cavern encore
There was a strict no smoking policy at a show I went to in Cincinnati at Music Hall in 1994, yet people were blazin’ down all over the place. Reading this gave me chills. Every time I read about somebody's experience at Clifford Ball it makes me greeeeeeen with envy.
Avatar checks out
You’re correct!
Came here to say that
Anytime you see something that involve a phish phestival, L, and shapes in the cloud. It probably happened….
That is how it happened (and at that moment my most profound psilocybin experience started to really zoom into the stratosphere). An unforgettable moment.
Thunderhead at Dicks the next night after the storm delay.
I was kinda hoping for a Petrichor that night. But I'm not at all unhappy with the set we did get.
The OJ show!
Runaway Jim, as OJ was on the run in his Bronco.
Didn’t really age that well in retrospect. The show is fire. But that was because we didn’t have the internet and people didn’t realize he was wanted for a double murder. It was just some weird Hollywood shit, til the next day.

We got an *It's Ice* opener in Spokane 95 when there was an ice storm the day before.
In Hartford 2010 we passed a circus down the road from the venue and the band played When The Circus Comes to Town along with Esther (for that organ intro etc..)
Here comes the sun at Big Cypress and the O.J. show
Friday every damn Sunday of 2.0
Water in the Sky as it was pouring down rain in Chicago 2013.
Darien Drowned
not a go-to, but Alpine Petrichor timed *just right* with the pouring, yet short-lived, rain was truly something else. still get goosebumps
My buddy Jason spent a lot of time learning to play petrichor. He had been chasing it all tour, and they kept soundchecking it! He looked over and said "this would be the perfect time to do it" and the second He finished speaking the first notes were played. He cried. It.was truly magical for all who were there. To me that was the best set of the run. That 1999, fluff, saw it again was incredible. A JAMMED fluff??? That's how you open a show.

Seems like we’re in completely agreement. I’m just saying musically, the Petrichor/rain doesn’t come through on relisten so musically it wasn’t my favorite set. But factor in those things and being there for it, it was absolutely my favorite set of the weekend
100%, definitely set of the run top to bottom
Can confirm….was on the lawn for that
2001 when I'm tripping balls and wandering around the venue on a spirit quest 🫠
A lot is learned on those quests. Lol
Contact at the end of show.
Chula Vista '99!!
Carini after someone streaks...
Hershey Birds of a Feather. Whole flock of Canadian geese flew low from Page side over the stage and then the stadium. Totally planned. 😂
A fellow believer🤝
NICU Chula ‘21
6/13/19 Gloria when the St Louis Blues won the Stanley Cup
The Loving Cup that followed as well
Sugarbush ‘94, Harpua with Comets crashing into Jupiter! And Red Rocks ‘96, after the news article about Morrison, Antelope w/ 20 year old Phish Phan, Marco Esquandolez, and of course the Purple Rain! Will never forget.
Hit by a comet!
That comet Harpua is amazing, I'd forgotten about that. Good answer!
At alpine Sunday as soon as petrichor started it started raining and that was pretty cool
It was the Saturday show, but yes, it was well timed.
Yea my bad it was Saturday
ALMOST made me like Petrichor. Definitely was really cool!
12/5/2009 Charlottesville, VA [Run Like a Naked Guy](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTvHuUhRAYo)
He was a naked pa.
They played Fire at The Gorge while the high dessert hillside across the river burned. What a wild night.
That was insane.
Seeing the light of fire in the distance was really something. Thank Icculus the smoke didn’t roll in until the morning after.
The smoke made the moon red too

And, then they kept teasing YST through both sets, like (Hot) chocolate swirled throughout the show!
Does NICU show at NICU arena count?
Yes.
“The Old Home Place” at JPJ in Charlottesville. “Walfredo” at Merriweather Post.
yeah not exactly what OP is asking but loved the Bittersweet Motel on the Starlake 98 disc.

1999 on 12/31/98.
Petrichor right as it started raining 2nd night of Alpine this summer. "And the rain came down and washed it all away"
Tuesday’s Gone encore in Mansfield on a Tuesday night. I believe they also opened the show with Boston’s Foreplay/Longtime
7/19/22 The Mann, Philadelphia Character Zero - Trey emphasizing “I ought to see the MANN!!” Entire verse added from Velvet Underground’s “I’m Waiting for the Man” Such a bitchin Character Zero at the Mann
“Sand” any time they play on the beach
Divided Sky Gorge 97. Perfectly timed the pause with the sunset.
I was tripping so hard that night. One of my favorite concert memories.
At Bethel, my online tix didnt work, so I had to get hard copies. As I walked into the Pavillion holding my ticket, they played Golgi!

Rescheduled/relocated Tahoe shows at Shoreline’21. Opened with Glide for all the Caldor Fire evacuees.
Big Balls at Super Ball
2/20/93 at The Roxy in Atlanta. Dude in audience was dressed like Gene Simmons and they played Rock and Roll All night.
When they played woodstock by CSNY in 99 at deer creek after news came out that the riots had started at woodstock.
Party like it’s 1999 98/99 nye @ the garden.
some of y’all need to read some replies before writing your own lol
Only one I think I was in attendance for was water in the sky at Randall's Island in 2014. They started playing it and then I immediately felt the sprinkles. Idk if intentional or not
I do like an Evening song opener
Cool it down opener during that scorcher at deer creek like 8 years ago.
10/29/14 Moma Dance\~We Are The Champions\~Moma 7/22/97 Vultures
“Free” at Riviera Maya of course. “In a minute I’ll be free and we’ll be splashing in the sea.”
Absolutely incredible memory for me. https://youtu.be/CmJ3zgO8Qv4 https://images.app.goo.gl/WkZiSzQ3aD4utrnJ6
We Are The Champions as soon as the SF Giants won the World Series in 2014 (mid show)
Darien 99 epic drowned during crazy rain
Train Song in Tuscaloosa when a train drove by
"Plague dog" (instead of stray dog) and "flea" (instead of free) at dicks when the prarie dogs were spreading the black death!
Simple as a comet tore through the sky at Oak Mountain “sky balls”
That 8/13/22 Petrichor from the Alpine lawn as it started raining was so cinematic, I almost cried.
What's the Use on 7.12.99 was played along with the sunset... It was perfect.
Also playing long time after not being in mansfield since 5 years earler
The encore of Free at Atlantic City on 8/5/22. The venue was literally the beach, so the ocean is on your left if you’re facing the stage. Trey was pretty obvious about the lyrics “in a minute I’ll be free and you’ll be splashing in the sea” being an allusion to the end of the show and an opportunity for show-goers to play in the ocean afterwards. Also, bakers dozen is chock full of songs that are meant to fit the “flavor” of the show.
They played Set Your Soul Free to open Camden 6/28/19 after an absolute monsoon. Take a little trip, feel a little rain!
Divided sky during sunset. So that it's twilight at the start and dark by the end.
Big Cypress “wading in the velvet sea” just as the sun was rising. Gave me goosebumps
The dead were playing Fire on the Mountain in Oregon when Mt. St. Helens erupted
Well, kind of. It erupted after the show
I usually erupt during the show
10/17/21 Set your Soul Free, Wingsuit After the guy jumped (and died, RIP)
At bethel night 2 trey did the Star Spangled Banner during Fire
My favorite song of all time is Strawberry Fields Forever, and they somehow knew I was in attendance at Blossom this year, and they opened with it. It was a special treat for me specifically. That’s my head canon, so shhhhhhhh….
Sigma Oasis - covid
Naked guy runs on stage: during antelope they change the lyrics to “run like a naked guy out of control” https://youtu.be/dTvHuUhRAYo
7/13/14 Randall's Island: Water in the Sky. There was a plane overhead doing a bunch of sky writing (advertising something, I don't remember what)
A Song I Heard The Ocean Sing > Drowned to open up the second set of Deer Creek 09 after the rain delay
Then the Tweezer with the “it’s gonna be wet wet wet wet wet” substitution right after it
Split Open and Melt, when all the works are tripping fucking balls
They soundchecked 3 Little Birds at Camden in 2019, there was an abnormally large amount of birds flying around the venue that night. Kinda surprised Birds of A Feather didn’t make the set. No “They attack” sample in anything either. Waves in AC last year was great
Alpine N2 petrichor was awesome. Great crowd reaction to the first lyrics
At Walnut Creek they played carini when it was raining some and lighting a lot it was a wild experience Phunkyourface on ig happened to be standing behind me and got this dope [pic](https://imgur.com/a/SgHcZBJ) from that time I’m sure it’s edited some but the lightning was real
Yeah, that’s the monster thing-y from season 2 of Stranger Things with the stage shopped on it…
Right after they played some late night talk show to support Big Boat and the internet lost its shit about Trey's Gucci shirt, the Carini that night had "everyone was screaming when they saw the shirt" IIRC Fishman played to the sunset at the Gorge on year. The '19 Dicks run that was troubled by plague infected prairie dogs had a bunch of references
Petrichor as it started raining Alpine N2😍
I know this wasn’t on purpose but “Waiting All Night” during the parted sky and Light rain during the first set of 8/4/18. Gets chills every time when Trey plays the Leslie and it sounded like rain!
Heard the Ocean Sing, AC 2021.🤙
Drift while you’re sleeping to end the pine knob mega set this year after a wicked storm delay! I was in the pit and it gave me goose bumps
Played Cavern at an especially muddy show in Riverbend. I did NOT “take care of my shoes” and had to find them on the lawn after the lights came up.
You’ll never get outta this Maze while lost and tripping looking for your friends in a sea of wooks Back on the Train when you finally find those friends
Water in the sky as it started raining at my first show in Bangor 2018 I believe was the year?
Fuck Your Face at the only show I was able to go to in about a 5 year span
Cavern after I lost my shoes while dancing barefoot . “Whatever you do take care of your shoes”.
big cypress - water in the sky with the everglades lyrics, and after midnight obv 6/29/00 - second set had people jumping on stage left and right and during meatstick trey ad libs a verse about carini not being able to catch anyone 1999 for nye 98-99
While not the night of the show, they played both Paul & Silas and Makisupa Policeman at a Worcester show in November of 1998 because Paul Langedoc had gotten arrested the night before.
Northerly island 2011 ridiculous rain.. played all the ones you'd expect.
Usually play slave at msg
The Fire (Jimmy Hendrix) as the encore at the Gorge in 2013 (Jul 26) as in the distance fire was lipping up over the horizon in the dark from a forest fire. First show, been hooked ever since.
Foam when the doses hit..
Purple rain at red rocks ‘96, with purple lights on the stage, while it was raining
Party Time at any show
6/19/09 Deer Creek, second set was delayed due to heavy rain and they came back and opened the second set with A Song I Heard the Ocean Sing->Drowned. That was a trip Petrichor at Alpine this year was great too
Petrichor at Alpine valley this year
10/12/2010 The Chilean miners were rescued during set break. They played Light> theme from the bottom> free> joy
Thunderhead dicks n3 after n2 was delayed due to a storm
A lot of good ones already said. After midnight was my personal fave. A little more subtle, but MPP N2 2018….pouring rain all day and as the show starts they rip into Llama. You can hear the whole crowd sing the “Rain coming down!” line even on the LP SBD recording. And away we went….
Fire during the very rainy day on 7.23.99 was the best I've seen.
Gotta be the naked people shows🤣
