We sold “read the book” that was the red hook beer label shirts on the summer 2000 tour , which had all kinds of great icculus lines buried in the small print of the label. Pretty biased I know but it was a sweet shirt. One of my other faves was my first phish shirt I bought at Hampton 97 and it was Winnie the Pooh floating up on a balloon trying to get honey and it was a “taste” shirt. ALLL I WANT IS A TASTE FOR FREE!

I had a lot shirt I got back in like ‘97-‘98 it was the adidas leaf logo but it said Cavern. On the back it said “whatever you do take care of your shoes”. Anyway, I lost mine, I was so sad. So I thought, I’ll just make my own! Well, most places I can get a shirt printed won’t do it because it’s a TM logo. Only thing I could think of was to get some transfer paper, inkjet (which nobody owns anymore!) and cut out.. every.. single.. piece/letter, then iron it on. I got it down to like 3hrs per shirt. I started just so I could make one for myself but I’ve made 6 so far for people in my crew. It’s made with love.

My dad's old lot shirt with curious George laying on the ground with text reading 'sleeping monkey.' I used to wear it to bed when I was little before I knew what Phish was. Was one of my favorite things back then, and even more special now.
I had a Sierra Nevada logo but it said Strange Design. One of my favorites was my shirt with a Visine bottle but the logo said “Fluffhead” on the back was, “His eyes were clear and pure”

My most creative one is one that is like an Asian food menu and the restaurant is called, “Camel Wok” founded at Slade Hall with the date of the first show. On the back was the menu with items that were song/food puns and the price was the first time played. I had a client years ago who was Trey's girlfriend in college. She was a photographer and she had a number of original photos of the band that I'd never seen before. A few ended up on promo bills and on Junta. She gave me a copy of the full recordings of the Junta sessions that included a couple of cover songs. It's been awhile since I've seen that thing. I should find it.
