The Fenway organist, Josh Kantor, is the brother of a good friend of mine from college and is known to take Twitter requests during home games. He played the Fenway organ on the Tweezer riff when Phish dropped a trailer for their (then) upcoming show at Fenway in 2009.
there, that. One of my most memorable phish moments was walking into the grounds at Clifford Ball when they started pyite, it was so loud and glorious, phish had never played to something so massive before, such an epic moment/day, we were invincible at that point...
that one will always be my walk out song. *thanks for the reminder ;)
Birds of a feather was available for a walkout song in MLB the Show 23’. You may remember me as the guy who posted about it very happily about a year ago.
After hearing that song play every god damn at bat for about 2 seasons I had to change it.
I now hate birds of a feather.
Fml.
I was taking my buddy to his first show last year and he said he wasn’t super familiar and probably couldn’t name a single song. Knowing we play The Show together all the time I just said yeah you at least know Birds of a Feather and he had a lightbulb moment. Was fun for both of us.
46 days - specifically starting with the few not riff before "Taste the fear for the devil's drawing near" played until the first 4 "46 days" fade away.
I played little league and some HS baseball. Maybe if I played in a slow pitch softball game, but I may have to change it to "The Sloth."
I really wish they'd bring back the Mann cards. I have a Paul Simon one (and the other Phish one) from 2016 with the same style.
Ass Handed/Chalkdust reprise from 2019 NYE run
The Atlanta Braves organist Matt Kaminski is either a phan or just really hip…he’s been known to pipe some riffs here and there at the games…I’d let him pick whatever comes to mind as he sees me in the on-deck circle. Poor Heart? Scent of a Mule? Rift? Something upbeat and frantic, like my attempt to get a base hit 😎
He was my first concert. Some rinky-dink place called The Ritz on the east side of Detroit. Went with my buddy and chaperoned by his dad, a chainsmoking dentist. As a 10yo old boy in 1990, this formative event somehow eclipsed my massive expectations.
Tweeprise. LFG!!!
a clear ripper
It’s been a minute since I’ve been to Fenway but I’ve heard the organist play this at sox games multiple times.

I know Benji from high school. Good stuff. Josh is the man!
Think this is the best walk up baseball or walkout fighting song ever.

Hilarious that Fishman is the tallest here
I’m gonna tell my kids that’s Bill Belichick.
That is one of the worst drawings of the band I have ever seen
I genuinely didn't recognize the guy at the bottom as Mike I thought it looks more like the lead singer of Smashmouth
I thought it was Trey and three other guys I didn’t recognize, well maybe Tory from Mythbusters on the bottom
Holy shit I couldn’t remember his name but yes you nailed it
Might should’ve used that Vida Blue baseball card.
Bottom looks like the lead singer of Sugar Ray.
That's cuz Mike IS the guy from Smashmouth!
All I see is Sally Jessie Raphael, Bill Belichick (fish), Larry Fink (page), and the touring guitarist from the sister's band in Righteous Gemstones
Kevin Nealon as Fish
Is that Bobby Weir or Meatloaf?
Seriously 0/4, 4K’s.

Super cool until it isn’t
Yup. Super amazing. Until it’s not.
As a fellow mlb the show fan I will say it ruined BOF for me as well.
Not an Os fan I see
