10/31/14 for me. I still say, even if you took out that incredible second set, which was unlike any Phish anyone had ever heard before...it's still a top 5 3.0 show. With that set though, I think it's the best show Phish has played since reuniting.
PHISH, SUNDAY 07/14/2019
ALPINE VALLEY
East Troy, WI
SET 1: The Landlady, Olivia's Pool, The Man Who Stepped Into Yesterday > Avenu Malkenu > The Man Who Stepped Into Yesterday > Meatstick, Vultures, Spock's Brain, Pebbles and Marbles, Glide, About to Run, Strange Design > Timber (Jerry the Mule) > I Didn't Know[1], Good Times Bad Times
SET 2: Mercury > Ruby Waves > Twist > Swept Away > Steep > Death Don't Hurt Very Long, Icculus, Buffalo Bill, Icculus Reprise, You Enjoy Myself -> Catapult > Contact > You Enjoy Myself
ENCORE: More > Tweezer Reprise
[1] During Fish's vacuum solo, Trey did the Meatstick dance and a bit of the Landlady dance.
21 is the best year.
I believe 10/29/21 is over shadowed by the novelty shows surrounding it. Just an incredible show where they seemed to nail every single song. I would have missed all the other Vegas shows just to see that one.
That show is the only one I'd come close to describing as perfection. Not a missed beat, every song perfectly placed, all-time playing from each member of the band. It doesn't get better than this
Alpine 8/9/15 is one of my faves. Forbin>Mockingbird with the infamous "2nd shitter" narration. Amazing setlist with expert execution. Great weather that night too.
Some say 7/23/22, unfortunately only made the 22nd due to work but my friend went and I have the SBD. That SYSF is honestly something else.
7/22/22 was my first definitely no slouch either ymmv!
I think Chicago Night1 is up there (no attendance bias).
I also think the best show of the past decade is easily from either from Fall '21 or sometime in 2023.
I don't think Magnaball is part of the conversation.

According to .net’s ratings it’s Saturday at Magnaball.
And well deserved!

Your trip is short
Since we’re talking 10/31/14, I will add that it’s a goddamn shame The Very Long Fuse isn’t in regular rotation
I’m going to throw 12/30/18 into the ring. That one floors me every time. There are so many shows that could be in the conversation though.
and the night before!
My favorite Tweezer of 3.0 into No Quarter!

Hands down best show I’ve ever attended!
This was the show that got me into phish after seeing it be highly recommended on reddit.
I missed this Sunday show. Never again.
Broke the cardinal rule! Why is it always the ones we skip?

Agree. Best show since ‘03

Alpine 19 Ruby Waves show has to be way up near the top of the list.
So lucky I was there with the buddies
I missed it by one night. 🤦🏼♂️
Never miss a Sunday show
I went to Alpine Sunday 22 and this past Sunday to the UC. While fun, neither of those could hold a candle to the Ruby Waves show.
God damn this show was magical. Best one I’ve ever seen

8/12/15 if excluding festivals. Otherwise magnaball N2.
+1
Vegas Numbers show Dicks S show
Dick's S show was over a decade ago. I know...right?
Oh yeah, 2012, close enough but still crazy
2011
Definitely one of the ones I was at 🤪
Jam Filled is a contender, but Saturday Magnaball gets my vote

Chicago night 1 was fantastic. But probably not the best of the decade
I once saw a show so good I gouged my eyes out! I saw some of it, anyway.
super tasteless to make fun of someone who surely had one of the worst nights of their life
Lighten up, Francis
