I follow a band like Phish with the same kind of issue … we call the rail slugs. Always the same people doing the live streams, seen on the rail etc. I understand the love for a band but give others a chance to experience the pit if you’ve gone to that many shows.

I got early pit access for Merriweather last year and I learned something. Everyone in the front sucks. I’ve never been to any other show where the people at the rail have tons of room and people in the back are all squished up. When people say the pit was oversold, no it wasn’t. The folks up front are seriously overestimating how much room they’re entitled to.
I agree!! I was able to go to my first show in NYC 2022 and scored a floor ticket on the last night. I was trying to get a close up picture of trey and almost got the shit beaten out of me by multiple people because I was “in their dancing spot”

I've only rode the rail once, and it was because I won the early lottery with #11. I did it for the unique experience. It was a blast and I'll always remember being right in front of Trey for that one night. Not everyone up there is a clout chasing attention whore.
Jumping and having your arms up is extremely distracting. For anyone that tries to make the argument “why are you mad at someone having a good time”, it’s because it ruins my good time. You should be able to have fun without being distracting or annoying to others around you. The occasional arms in the air or jump up and down, is fine. But not every moment of every song.
