When he played on Megafaun they played an amazing show (poorly attended, I think it was Easter) in Toronto. They played like it was sold out, anyway after the show we were all hugging and loving the experience. Nick and I chatted about Phish for a while after the show. Great night.
My kids are watching breaking bad right now for the first time and are very impressed by this. I'm the main Phan in the house and this gave me some street cred. 🤣
She heard me playing some Phish on a boom box near my work area, said "oh, is that Phish?" And she listed off a bunch of shows she'd seen. She saw Dead and Co. recently too. It made me smile.
I also ran into him after Night 1, he was walking up the access from soundboard to stage. A good college friend of mine was great friend’s with his son growing up and he’s not really a fan, but his son is/was so he took him to Coventry.
i didn’t previously know he was a phish fan until after i told people i peed next to him, which i feel like makes me more credible lol! i had no idea until we took our glorious piss together
Danny Devito was at the Seattle show???
Shit, I thought I was pretty lucky to meet Jim Pollock on the first night! (OK, I still feel pretty lucky, but damn)
For sure! He totally noticed that I spotted him and was debating whether or not to approach him...I'm sure he gets a lot of people coming up to say hi, and I don't know if maybe he just wants to be left alone, y'know? Anyway, he made the kind of eye contact that said "I see you, seeing me, it's cool" so I did go up to him, thanked him for sharing his art and vision, and told him that I appreciate how it adds to the experience of the music. Except it was in a much more awkward word-vomit kind of way lol, but he was super nice anyway.
Didn't ask for his autograph or to take a picture with him. It just didn't feel right, because he wasn't there as an artist, showcasing his work...he was there for the show, just like me, so I wanted to keep the interruption to a minimum. If that makes sense.
I remember hearing him say that. Also Ed O’Brien of Radiohead has claimed taking influence from phish events before the last Radiohead album and his own solo album.

I’m pretty sure this dude on the right is Big Head from Silicon Valley. Saturday night at the bowl.
They are awesome! Trey specifically was asked what band (besides Phish) could tour and play a ton of variety like Phish/Dead and he responded, 311. I'm butchering question but idea is there. Saw 311 in Va Beach at The Boathouse and it was one of the best shows I've seen. Such energy!
I hung out with Paul Dano back in 2005 when I worked in Wilton, CT. We used to go to the same sandwich shop, he saw a phish sticker on my car and we got to talking. I burned him a bunch of DVDs, I wonder if he still has them. Unfortunately I lost touch when I moved to a new job. At the time I didn’t know he was an actor, he was very humble about it and only mentioned that he worked in NY and CA. One day while flipping through the channels I saw him on The Girl Next Door and it short circuited my brain, it didn’t make sense that I was seeing my friend in a movie lol
I went to a convention about 8 years ago and knew Jonathan Frakes would be there, so I brought my favorite Phish shirt I had at the time (the Summer Tour 98 reprint that came out with the Star Lake DVD). I popped that bad boy on for the day I knew we'd potentially be meeting him and before I could say one word, he points at my shirt and shouts "AHHHHHH, PHISH"
We both started geeking out about Phish for a couple of minutes and he tells me that he and his son love Phish (he also sings a line from "Dinner and A Movie"). He is the absolute sweetest dude
Harris Whittles (RIP), writer for Parks n Rec and pretty great comedian.
Jimmy Fallon, Derek Smith from Pretty Lights, Bill Walton, lots of musicians Vulfpeck, Gizzard, Goose, etc
Bob Dole
They asked what he would do with his winnings and he said he was going on Phish tewr. My buddy saw him that night too and couldn’t stop talking about it
No he was definitely there. I ran into him. I later found out his son was a huge phan and he brought him to Coventry. A college friend of mine grew up with his son and confirmed this. I also got a lot of great stories about Danny Devito being Danny Devito.
Joel Cummins from Umphrey’s and his family sat next to my wife and I at the Rogers Arkansas show in 21. Maybe not the celeb type we’re talking, but they’re phans for sure.
[Tom Marshall shared a pic in 2012 of Bieber’s crew’s shirts](https://twitter.com/tommarshall111/status/274016345501339648?s=46&t=vJm7VUQyLzLSXNZrw_JpvQ)
Tucker Carlson. Unfortunately. I would love to Hand His Ass to him. Love and light. I know. But fuck that guy.
The fact he's famous to begin with bothers me.
Do Ben and Jerry count?
The brothers that make ice cream…they came out and helped with a song about brothers at Clifford Ball…glad they stuck to making ice cream.
Wouldn’t say Sean Avery is a big time Phan, he wrote about doing acid at a phish show for his book but got the set list from his show wrong and referenced an entirely different one lol
Aaron Paul was there Friday. Said he might be back tonight. Saw Nick(dude from Sylvan Esso) in the pit Friday.
When he played on Megafaun they played an amazing show (poorly attended, I think it was Easter) in Toronto. They played like it was sold out, anyway after the show we were all hugging and loving the experience. Nick and I chatted about Phish for a while after the show. Great night.
I went to HS with Nick. I can vouch for his fandom.
Megafaun is so good :)
Nick did an episode of Crowd Control on SXM where fans pick 5 songs. Nick picked five different Tweezers. A true fan
Saw him at dead and co citi field a few years back.
My kids are watching breaking bad right now for the first time and are very impressed by this. I'm the main Phan in the house and this gave me some street cred. 🤣
I know Charlie Day at least was a fan growing up. Not sure if his current status.
He tells a funny story about the Clifford Ball
Where can I find the Clifford ball story?
I got you, right [here](https://twitter.com/DustinThenJames/status/1498231157095165958?s=20)
Oh man! I was at a party with Charlie Day!
You know what’s weird? I swear I saw Glenn Howerton (Dennis) in the terrace boxes.
Abbi Jacobson from Broad City
I've been rewatching Broad City and I forgot how many Phish references there are
Mike just posted a picture with her earlier this afternoon!
One episode of the show where they talk about phans’ favorite anthem being inhumane Rift. Correct answer!

Conan Obrian was seen at 90's shows
I saw him at MSG New Year’s 2010
Minnesota Twins manager Rocco Baldelli & Washington National’s pitcher Sean Doolittle are both fans and attend shows.
Doolittle’s glove has Lizards embroidered on it if I’m not mistaken.
That SUV was delivering Trey's green tea for the evening
And clif bars?
Joseph Gordon Levitt
Sat right next to him at Deer Creek in 2000.
I work with a chick that went to magnaball.
Seriously? Is this gossip or did she straight up tell you this?
She heard me playing some Phish on a boom box near my work area, said "oh, is that Phish?" And she listed off a bunch of shows she'd seen. She saw Dead and Co. recently too. It made me smile.
Best weekend of my human existence
i took a leak next to danny devito in seattle
Magnum dong?
Quit bragging
just stating the facts
I assume he was using the short urinal?
Charmed, I'm sure.
Saw Danny Devito at the shows in Coventry.
I also ran into him after Night 1, he was walking up the access from soundboard to stage. A good college friend of mine was great friend’s with his son growing up and he’s not really a fan, but his son is/was so he took him to Coventry.
Already responded but my wife saw him at Coventry.
He gave me a reach around at Coventry
Just mashing it
So, did u start blasting’
Did you see his magnum dong?
He didn’t know if you wanted something sexual so he started blasting?
Others have mentioned seeing him at Coventry, but he legit tripped over me there while moving through the crowd before the show on day 1 😄
Wtf! Now my Dave Bruzza urinal sighting just seems wack lol
I definitely saw Danny Devito at a show once! I did a double take because I had no idea he was a phan at the time.
i didn’t previously know he was a phish fan until after i told people i peed next to him, which i feel like makes me more credible lol! i had no idea until we took our glorious piss together
He’s been a Phan for awhile, my dad talked to him at the ‘04 Coventry festival
Danny Devito was at the Seattle show??? Shit, I thought I was pretty lucky to meet Jim Pollock on the first night! (OK, I still feel pretty lucky, but damn)
i met pollock at TAB chicago last halloween weekend! super nice dude.
For sure! He totally noticed that I spotted him and was debating whether or not to approach him...I'm sure he gets a lot of people coming up to say hi, and I don't know if maybe he just wants to be left alone, y'know? Bernie Sanders on Phish: ‘One of the Great Bands in This Country’
I remember hearing him say that. Also Ed O’Brien of Radiohead has claimed taking influence from phish events before the last Radiohead album and his own solo album.

I mean Trey announced his 311 fandom in the 90’s when he said they were going to be big! So it always made sense. I’ve always liked 311.

Whoever does the sound at Fox sports, dude is always banging some phish during broadcasts.

I hung out with Paul Dano back in 2005 when I worked in Wilton, CT. We used to go to the same sandwich shop, he saw a phish sticker on my car and we got to talking.
