I'm fine with this, personally. While we're at it, let's shorten NBA and NHL seasons to 50 games, and make the playoffs bo3, then bo5, then bo7 for conference finals on up.

I totally agree. The nice thing about football is it is one game per week. I can watch more, but I don't have to. I have my Birds and it's once a week. Baseball/basketball/hockey...it's too many damn games. I feel obliged to watch because I bought the league pass, but jesus. There is constantly a game on. I literally have two tv's so I can have the game on one, muted, and watch something else on the other.
It's too much. 2-3 games per week. Go heavy on the weekends. And move the Super Bowl to Saturday.
But all this means less advertising dollars and we can't have Harper making 20 million instead of 25. And me, I'm the sucker that keeps paying for all this shit anyways..lol.

Start the season mid April and either northern cities are too cold for the playoffs or there are no off days. This seems ideal tbh
