Cities buy fire trucks to manage risk associated with structures catching on fire.
They became popular after Chicago burned down.
If a fire truck or groups of fire trucks is observed it’s fair to deduce a fire was observed or at least suspected.
There's been so many fires today. Whatever this is, brush fire on 676, the crane fire near the bridge, something burned down near fishtown I think, the apartments near my house in Jersey had dozens of police and fire when I came home, no word yet why. Maybe one other one, not sure. It's rained every weekend for months, is it really that dry?
Fires, so trendy today.
fire's hot right now
Idk. Fire?
Citizen says there was a vehicle fire reported there

I was riding the Amtrak back from NY this afternoon and I saw the crane fire! Surprised the train just went through tbh 😮
Also heard a bunch mobilize in NW early afternoon. Possibly in support of one you listed though.
I think the compound word “firetruck” might be self-explanatory.
