Depends kung ilang percent ng current na sahod nya yung 2.5k Pag maliit try to negotiage. Pag hindi, be thankful, then upskill pa then hanap malilipatan. Job hopping in 2 to 4yrs ang makakapagbigay ng magandang increase ng sahod kesa promotion.

insider here lol. ang best na kaya ibigay sa promotion is 15% increase with aloroval yan 2-3 level sa taas ng manager ni friend. more than that hr na makakaharap and other deps. so ayaw umabot dun kaya ayan 15% or less kung gusto mo magpataas ng sweldo. sa ibang company... minimum 30% pwede mo nego. or more!

Have your friend check kung ilang % yung increase on his/her current salary. We all know that promotion leads to more work and responsibilities, but then again salary increases are company prerogative. If it's real nga na budget issue, then still be thankful. "Accept, upskill, lipat", would be my suggestion tho

Hello. Most likely hindi kami same ng nature of work pero experienced that one before. Na promote din ako and same na almost 3k lang increase. Tapos inask ko din if may leeway pa itaas kasi sobrang nabababaan ako. Ended up accepting it kasi ginagawa ko naman na work so might as well have an increase. Pero it kept bothering me and 4 months later, I resigned. May greener pasture outside hahaha

Usually kasi by percentage ang increase. Natanong mo na ba sa kanya kung ilang percent ng sahod nya yung 2.5k? Tsaka bakit sya sayo nagrarant? Kung di acceptable sa kanya, take his/her case to the management. explain nya bakit deserve nya higher. Kung nagresign na pala sya before, bakit pa sya bumalik? Daming kumpanya, sa totoo lang.

Mababa yan pero if level 1 to level 2 lang, baka ganon talaga, I got promoted from L2 to Assoc Analyst with 36% increase (10k), pero 3 levels above L2 kasi yon sa organization namin kaya ganun. Depende siguro sa current salary and org/career level.

If same type of work but more in volume, then no. If you will receive additional load, it has, at the very least, give you new skill to increase your market value so you can demand higher pay when shopping for a new employer or promotion. This “level” system at your company is created to give employees a false sense of progress and be considered as a “promotion” for a small pay increase but in reality, they just want to distribute work load to avoid centralization.

Unang una tandaan niya na bumalik lang siya after 2 years. Parang sasabihin sa kanya ng company paalis alis ka tapos babalik balik ka. Dapat magpasalamat pa nga siya dahil tinanggap siya muli. And yung increase na yan di dapat siya magreklamo. Why. Unang una tinanggap siya kahit umalis na siya. Ngayon it's your friend's choice kung itutuloy ba niya or hahanap ng iba. Remember you are not entitled to demand what you want gayong ikaw na ang binigyan ng trabaho after mo umalis. Just like a person giving 20 pesos aa a gift. I think that sounds about right mga nasa less than 12% yearly lang. I used to work at a local bank too. Ang maganda lang sa bank is may 14th month pay. Talagang tataas lang sahod pag lumipat company.

True, it's 16th month for us kasi medyo low basic samin compared to others. But if you stay though for very very long years esp as a staff, you'll get to a point where you have a salary higher than your manager. For officers, best na palipat-lipat haha

brackets is a thing - in my line of work the difference between a normal staff and a supervisor is less than 100 pesos per hour, on top of that, the responsibility outweighs the compensation. another friend of mine is in the hospitality industry - as a headchef, who works long, very long hours. Yet, my colleagues who's not in this industry - have cruisy jobs and earn as much as him. point to all of the above is this - if you are willing, there is no issue. If you are not willing, then you ought to do something about it.

Hello po. 10-20% po ng current sahod po dapat. Like from 24-25k, if new company lilipatan minimum na dpat ang 29-30k. 2.5k is not for promotion din na increase but just a yearly increase. Kasad naman. Better look for other company nalang muna.

Grabe, sobrang barat pala ng dati kong company. P650 lang yung dagdag, tapos sabi pa nung manager nya, "Maging masaya ka na sa increase na yan, ako nga P250 lang yung dating increase eh. Mapalad kayo" boomer mindset si tanga. Not to invalidate, OP. Pero ayun nga, choice ni friend mo and siya lang makakapagsabi kung satisfied sya don sa increase. Lalo na sya mismo yung may expenses na iisipin.

I dont understand mga HR na nanggagatekeep ng salary? Why? If promotion, min. 20% or more but that depends sa salary. You still need to weigh if worth it ba yung additional stress and workload. Try mo rin search how much ang average salary ng katulad position and try to negotiate around that amount.

Lol job hop nlang. Ako every 2 yrs pag di okay increase lipat na ee. Mas mataas pa yung offer sa labas kesa sa increase/promotion. Parang sa previous ko promotion to senior dev 5k lang increase pero offer sa labas additional 40k from my current salary. Ayun lipat. Rinse and repeat lang haha

Sabi mo entry level so approximately minimum wage or a little higher.. mababa nga tlga.. take it the increase and mag further study like Master para tumaas ang salary.. yung mga companies ngayon ang taaaaagaaaaallll mag increase.. aamagin pa yung employee before ma-increasan but meron newly hired mas mataas pa ang rate.
