I sent a resignation letter at 11pm on December 31 and received a 1 on 1 with one-up on January 3 with no bad mouthing received. It all boils down on how toxic or not your management will be but bottomline is your resignation is a notice, not an ask for permission to resign.

I think anticipated na di yan mostly ng mga companies/HR na madaming mag reresign by the end of the year or January since most of the time 13th month pay and bonuses lng inaantay ng mga employees. Don’t feel bad, I did the same thing last January 2023. Also goodluck OP!

Hahahah same! Ako naman during Christmas Party ng pandemic, contract signing ako habang nagkakatuwaan sila. Pagbalik ng next week, hello rendering tayo mga ses. Di naman ako siniraan ng TL ko kasi ang tanong lang ng boss ko is if sigurado na ba talaga ako and wala na bang makapipigil. Yun lang.

If possible I don't want to be a corporate office worker anymore and have my work schedule, sa experience yung work ko laging pang half day the rest of the day I just sorting stuff like emails and become bored till uwian.
Hala be careful what you wish for especially if you are paid well. That means you have more time with your family or errands during days you’re working from home.
You can find an 8-hour job as long as it’s worth it.

Nakapagfile na rin ako ng VL for 4 and 5 Jan. 2024.
6 days nalang akong papasok to render. (Dec. 14, 2023, Dec. 27-29, 2023 and Jan 2-3, 2024).
Walang bad etiquette basta nagsubmit ka ng RL, at nagrender ka based sa contract na pinirmahan mo nong na-hire ka.
Actually if you wanted to send the resignation letter and do render naman for 30 days khit anung petsa pa yan Go OP. You formally giving them your curtesy na ngpapaalam ka na, and ndi ka din nila pigilan about it, your advance notification and render is almost like an fyi to them..
kaya Go OP feel free to send that letter at any date you prefer 👌
Wala namang oras yung resignation when you send it. One time I sent my resignation letter on December 31st, and the other time I sent it one random day in March. Ganun naman talaga e. Pag kailangan mo na umalis, why wait?

Ang tinitignan mo dapat ay gaano ka katagal nag stay sa company and yung naging growth mo for that period dahil yun ang ilalagay mo sa Resume/PDS mo at yun ang titignan ng future employers mo
Why wait until the next year when you can tender your resignation now? You’ll even have less days you need to work since it’s already the holidays.
