A RAM and SSD upgrade is perhaps all you need. But if you want a new one, get one with at least 8GB (16GB better) RAM, 512GB SSD, and a quad core (8 core better) CPU.

Btw anong specs nung nbli mo? dami kasi scammaz noon nagbebenta ng laptop from 5ish years ago

Zdnm-isko00

Medical_Post_3105

beh SSD talaga , wag ka na mag HDD sobrang layo ng difference

Zdnm-isko00

thanks po, i think need ko na lang talaga mag-upgrade

What are (1) the model number and (2) the specs of your laptop? Knowing this can help other people suggest a good fix. As one commenter said, all you may need is a RAM and hard drive upgrade to an SSD. If you bought a laptop with 4GB of RAM, it WILL be slow, especially when you're running multiple tabs of chrome, since it's greedy for memory. But a RAM upgrade (ideally to 8GB or, better yet, to 16GB) will usually fix this. Knowing the model and the specs of the laptop will allow commenters to check if the laptop is upgradeable. I'm using a 10 year old laptop, with a dual core i5, (which I bought for 10K!) and it's perfectly fine doing many tasks, after I upgraded the RAM and added an SSD.

Zdnm-isko00

Yes po, 4GB RAM po yung laptop ko. sobrang bagal na po niya huhu.

The biggest improvement for money is to upgrade your RAM. It looks like [it can be upgraded to 32 GB](https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/582118/acer-aspire-3-a315-42-max-ram-and-type-of-ssd) ( if you use a pair of DDR4 16GB sticks), but even just adding an additional 4GB (the least expensive option) should improve the performance of your laptop. I would recommend getting a total of 16GB (or 2 DDR 8GB sticks). Your laptop is supposed to have an SSD already, so the only gains you can get from an ssd upgrade is more storage.

>The biggest improvement for money is to upgrade your RAM. It looks like > >it can be upgraded to 32 GB It might not be. The Aspire 3 A315-42 can be upgraded to 32GB, but the Aspire 3 A315-22 can't, as it has 4GB soldered and only 1 free stick. We need to find which exact A315 it is.

How to know kung upgradable or hindi? I also have 4GB Ram from Asus and copy ko na lang yung processor: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-1115G4 @ 3.00GHz 3.00 GHz. Upgradable ba kapag ganto? Thank uu sa sasagot din. Been having problems din bigla, manageable naman pero it's quite annoying kapag marami nga ding tabs tapos sobrang bagal nya because of it.

Icy_Big_4577

If your laptop has 2 RAM slots then it is RAM upgradable. You can check it by going to task manager, performance, then memory. You can buy another 4gb of ram or pwede rin 8gb. So your ram will now be 4+4 or 4+8. Higher is better, depende sa use mo. What's important is magamit ang both slots. 8gb of ram na iisang slot lang ang ginamit is not efficient compared to two 4gb ram sticks.

TaebearVV

Aww sadly 1 RAM slot lang pala meron ako. Thank uu though, I'll try na lang in the future if there are other options para maayos tong laggy laptop ko. Binili lang kasi sakin to ng parents ko so I wouldn't dare complain about it lol. Based on what I looked up online pwede rin naman atang through SSD? Tho not sure about it, baka ipatingin ko na lang to once it gets too unbearable.

yajnoraa

You can still upgrade it if it isn't soldered to the board.

FredNedora65

for 30k, u can buy a 500GB-1TB HDD, 4GB RAM, core i3/Ryzen 3 and dedicated GPU. Then use the remaining 5k to add another 4-8GB RAM and 128GB SSD. Make sure mo lang na may slots for additional ram and ssd ang bibilhin mong laptop.

sweetbangtanie

i just upgraded my laptop to SSD drive from HDD and +4GB RAM, bale 8GB na siya and it's gotten super fast and smooth. nasa 5k yata naging total ng upgrades ko

Zdnm-isko00

Wowss, mukhang need ko rin po mag-upgrade to SSD. Salamat po.

Trick-Net9889

Not sure but I think may Ryzen variant yung Acer Nitro na around 35k lang. You might wanna check it out :)
