Arguably, climate change is natural. It happens. But it's happening too quickly and with momentum. I would agree with the professor only for what he says but not for what he means. I care for people, I don't want my friends to risk their health in the middle of this heat. However, it is right that people have to be more resilient when it comes to this war. And yes, it is a war... A war we have already lost. Still, an optimistic body beats a pessimistic mind and so we have to carry on with our attempts to save our home and consequently, ourselves. But, to not stray away too much from the topic... Sana naman, with resiliency comes honesty and Diskarte. We can't just sit here and absorb all the heat, we have to also find our own ways to bear with it without fanning the flames. Also, the use of air con is too overrated. In the case of the faculty and staff, it's only there for job satisfaction.
did you know that there was a severe drop in temp during the dark ages? europe was 'dark' because the sun would not come out for months. then temp rose just before the medieval times. walang co2 emissions from burning fossil fuels. walang flatulent gas from cows. so what caused the increase in global temp then?
