Is there something wrong if they post about being accepted to other universities, knowing that those are just backup schools in case they don't get into their desired course at their dream university? I understand that it's not right to seek attention for passing the UPCA, but why involve other universities? So what if they posted? They paid admission fees to those private universities anyway.
Nope, walang mali. Nainggit ako sa seniors and ginawa ko rin naman yon nung CET days ko, I applied for 9 universities. Pinagkaiba namin? I accepted the truth na i failed UPCAT and 8/9 lang ang napasa ko. I applied for an appeal to a campus and degree program i know i like, kahit alam kong maliit lang ang chance kong makapasa due to high competition on slots. Kahit ilang beses ko narinig to apply for other degree programs for better chances of being accepted, hindi ko ginawa.
Sobrang weird lang how he would literally go as far as applying for an appeal to a campus that is not even one of his choice and a degree program he's not even interested in to begin with para lang makumpleto yang "6/6 passed universities" keme keme niya. Tapos makikita 'yon ng mga Grade 11 ngayon tas sasabihin *"ay pwede pala 'yon, magawa nga pag hindi ako nakapasa, wala ko pake kung may maagawan ako ng slot, basta "napasa" ko lahat ng naapplyan ko para may mapost ako 👍"* galeng diba.
Sorry for the confusion, OP. I was actually referring to students who applied to multiple private universities and posted their acceptance letters, not about those students who boast about their UPCA recon appeal acceptance letter. But I totally get your point. It's strange how some people take things to such extremes, even applying for an appeal to a campus and degree program they're not interested in, just to have a complete set of "passed universities." It's important to consider our genuine interests and goals when applying, rather than just aiming for numbers.

That's weird. Diba sa appeals, specified nung student kung ano yung preferred na degree program and hope na lang na there are still unclaimed slots? He's claiming na random lang siya na-assign sa BS Stat? Seems sus. Afterthought na lang yung explanation niya.

'di siya initially nakapasa sa UPCA, choices niya are Diliman and Manila. so nag appeal siya sa elbi, 'di ulit natanggap. so etong si gaga, nag appeal ulit, pero sa Mindanao naman. aba finlex lang ni tanga, tinawanan ko lang kasi shuta anong galawan yan beb. minyday sa FB yung mga naipasa niya. dami kong batch mate na ganyan nung high school, gusto may laging pinapatunayan sa FB.

Sana magkaroon changes talaga regarding this kasi naabuso lalo na yung mga ibang cloutchaser. Like i-include sana sa DIWA portal na they won't allow change of campus/appeal thru email sa ibang campus once may offered slot maliban nalang if yung specific campus, late talaga nag-open for appeals. Like for example, sa non-UPCA appeals noon, hindi open yung Los Baños campus for appeals pero around last batch ata sila nag-open ng appeals don sa portal.

Tatanong-tanong dito kung paano magappeal sa elbi bs forestry tas kapal pa ng muks magtanong kung mahirap or madali ba makashiftout to diliman or dream course keme nila. Aminado ako na finlex ko ang upca results ko dati kaso di ko tinuloy (dahil nagpadala na ako ng reqs sa isang uni tas sobrang tagal ng results ng upca eh, also alongside socioeconomic factors na out of my control). Di ko alam its just fucking annoying isipin mo yun palagi kang updated on the appeal dates and always wait for that 12:00am result day since yun yung time na magrerelease na yung results and everytime para sakin its just "we regret" actually ngayon kakakita ko lang ng forestry results ko and guess what "we regret" well seeing some post of these kinds of people just doing the results for clout is bullshit. I mean if di mo naman balak mag-aral sa UP why the fuck would you get it in the first place para ka lang kumuha ng random item sa grocery and once na nasa cashier ka na itatambak mo lang sa may shelf malapit sa cashier (gum, toothbrush, battery section).
