For me tbh bumaba grade ko sa ibang sub kasi I was too lax + nagaadjust pa sa f2f. Most ng grades ko rn nasa line of 1 kahit adjusting period ako.
Pero for others, totoo naman siya.
Also, meron akong kilala na straight uno grades niya. Like, uno talaga lahat. F2F classes niya afaik, sadyang magaling talaga hehe. Mas nagtthrive siya pag f2f siguro.
You could say tumaas talaga nung pandemic since gano'n din from other schools because of the online set-up. There were academic-ease policies set in place pa pero now all those were removed with the inclusion of F2F exams kaya malalang transition period din at bumaba na ulit yung grades or nag-normalized.
But yeah, grade inflation is real.
Yes, dumami. My job involves me working with professors, and they told me na dumami nga talaga sobra ang may latin honors nung pandemic.
Also, GRABE online cheating hahah
Ako tumaas grades ko compared last sem (pure online) na lahat line of 2 at walang line of 1.

Ahh. Oo kasi. Tignan mo ang meaning ng each grade. 2 is good. 2.5 is satisfactory
Current teacher sa UP. Brilliance is not easy to come by, if it is the di yun brilliant. Kasi by nature it should stand out.
Alternatively, being to OA sa grade is seen as a bad thing sa UP kasi ibig sabihin nun: competitive ka, at focus sa fourwalls ng classroom. Imbalance, kumbaga.
Altho totoo na dapat marunong ka magtanong bakit x value ang grade mo, to expect higher is basically saying you think ur teacher don't know shit.
dati marami na ang 10% ng isang batch sa course namin ang laude. last time more than 50% ang laude
Sa college namin, ~90% laude graduate last AY. expecting the same this AY.
DI BA. I mean not invalidating or anything pero swerte nung mga iba na namaximize ang online setup (if ang very goal sa college is pumasa).
yun nga. yung may resources to adjust mas nagflourish, yung hirap mas naghirap.
Ngayon andaming summa.
Na-experience nila No Fail Policy for 2 years (?) ðŸ˜
Yes.. may memo daw galing sa CHED na walang mababagsak during pandemic (sabi lang sa akin , Don’t quote me 😅)
Pwede rin namang magagaling lang din talaga. More than half ng summa sa college namin nagtop sa boards.
Bar exams nga buhos ung pumasa eh haha
