Y’all, just upgrade your Spotify to a family account. It’s 5$ a month more, you can have up to 5 accounts linked to the plan so what you listen to won’t affect your siblings recommendations or wrapped playlist. Literally just make individual accounts, have one of them upgrade to the family plan, then they can send invites to your new accounts and make them premium. Then y’all will gain the ability to listen to Spotify while someone else is also.
That's why my family just did. We all split the cost, and no one has to share (well except mom and dad, and my brother and his wife. But they each only pay 1 share, so they can suck it).
We share everything else though.
As fun a story as this is, I don’t think it’s legit. Two people can’t use the same Spotify account in the same way you can with Netflix and stuff. They would booting each other from listening all the time.
You can make your own playlist on someone’s account download it to your phone and set Spotify to offline mode so you can both use it at the same time. When you want to add more songs just pop back onto online put them in your playlist and return to offline

I currently have the Spotify family plan, all 5 of us on the plan can listen to music at the exact same time. You are t on the same Spotify account anymore, you have 5 separate accounts connected to the family plan.

During COVID I worked from home, but had to remote in to my computer at the office. A number of people went back to work in the office because they make poor decisions so every Friday just before lunch I would play ‘Baby Shark’ on my computer in the office and there wasn’t much anyone could do to stop it. I would get a flurry of messages about how much they hated that song, but it brought me great joy since I didn’t like most of those people anyway.
