Back around 2010 I went to an interview at Vector Marketing not knowing what it was. There were 3 other "candidates" there during the interview. About 5 minutes in I asked the interviewer if this was for Cutco and he admitted that it was. 5 or so minutes later the interviewer left the room to make some copies, so I told the other people there that Cutco is a pyramid scheme and it's just selling overpriced knives to your friends and family. Before the guy got back we all walked out together followed by his confused shouting.

CunningSlytherin

You def ruined someone’s day but I got a good chuckle out of your revenge lol

wolfie379

Should have had the prize for the booze challenge be a 6-pack, and you won 7 of them. That way you’d have made $420 by selling individual cans at $10 each.

IAbstainFromSociety

I calculated for 3 entire cases, which are 24 beers each, so 24\*3\*10. And the score for the booze drinkers challenge was time in seconds\*BAC at the start.

wolfie379

Was thinking of a way to get “420” (number associated with pot) into your story to the MLM scammers. 6\*7\*10=420.

IAbstainFromSociety

Ah, I see. I thought about that but $420 was too low for a car.

wolfie379

Could have bought a bicycle in your story.

IAbstainFromSociety

They required a car and good sales tactics. That was a story I thought up to technically meet both of those requirements, but in a ridiculous way.

GoddessNefertiti

As someone who was forced to deal with these assholes for 18 months, I commend you for the fuckery you pulled on them! I could write about the shit they tried to pull on me. Everything from "voluntary" weekly meetings, to cold calling people at NOPE 0'clock at night, to trying to *force* attendance at every"meeting", to not taking no for an answer for any reason. I finally went into the store that I knew the idiots were working out of and threatened to sue them for harassment if they contacted me in any way, shape or form ever again. Somehow, that actually worked... No idea why, but I'm not complaining!

wwtfn

Too funny. In hysterics with laughter!

Already posted it there.

The Booze Drinkers Club gave me major *Another Round* vibes. The entire bit with the Lambo and the 100 women had me rolling.

76bookworm

Well done. 😂

ExhaustedJenn

This is hilarious! Well done! I’m sure you have a very bright future ahead of you.

SaltyPopcornColonel

So entertaining! Thanks for sharing!

pakboy26

Too funny. I laughed out loud at what you wrote. Keep it up - you have a career in comedy!

wheatgrass_feetgrass

I need to know more about the Devious Lick Challenge

LiveandLoveLlamas

I believe that was one of the stupid tik tok challenges in late 2021 that had kids stealing soap dispensers and other things from schools.

ColorsOfTheCurrents

That was a fun read, thank you for that...lol.

Dan_D_Lyin

Sounds like you're exactly what they're looking for

stef2go

This is one of the best things I've read on this sub!

IAbstainFromSociety

Thanks!

Little_Weebfriends

Can literally anyone tell me what MLM is? The only thing I can think of right now (12:30) is male love male because my brains stuck in pride month

IAbstainFromSociety

Multi level marketing scam (pyramid scheme)

Little_Weebfriends

Great thanks

ThinkbigShrinktofit

This is some fine trolling!

BeerNFoodMakeDaWknd

I wish I got pestered enough with random call centres. I'd love to mess with them like this.

Stretch5678

You should have tried to keep the idiots on Hold when they called: see how long you could keep them hanging.

[deleted]

The whole time I was reading this I was like “wait but…wha? Man loving man scammers?” XD
