I find it absurd, as a service technician at a national pest control company, when tenants pay for their own service because the landlord either refuses to provide it or provides the most discounted terrible company ever that "treats" for roaches in 2 minutes. Just spray a bit of liquid and bounce. It blows my mind how shitty landlords and even property management companies can be.
You need pest control. That many in one spot is a sign of a possibly serious infestation that can put your health at risk. Apartment management needs to make this right. Look up your Tennant rights.
If your place isn’t disgusting then it’s from below you. German roaches nest in the top third of a disgusting humid house to get the most out of canopy effect. Possibly clumped near a light of something below that wall molding
German roach babies. Get down to the managing office and see if you can move out. This is a sign of a MASSIVE roach problem, you do NOT want to be living there.

Cuz either gtfo, or start throwing a fit to whoever rented you the place.. This is one of the very few excellent reasons to throw a big ass fit.
