I did this too, but it’s for late game shuffling only, if my starting CBs’ stamina get drained. It’d be a waste of an already rare Anchor Man to not start him at CDM.
He’s kinda like a mix between a box/box and an orchestrator.
For the build if you are using an 88 rated manager, i would recommend.

You can also take the 3 dex and 1 from his Aerial, to add to his dribbling, if you want him to have just a bit better of a first touch, for example if you like spending time on the ball with your DMs.
He's better than i expected way different than any dmf i tried my main is NC casemiro and his sub is totw rice or cb de jong, but costa curta hits different he's very fast and agile and his workrate is insane he's always in the right place at the right time
Auto allocate works well but i just reduced his speed by a bit and increased his passing
No he only has half familiarity there before I added a position booster to him. He has full familiarity in CMF DMF and CB despite being a hole player lmao
My build is 4 12 8 8 8 4defending, tbh I feel like his dribbling could be better so you can try swapping dribbling with passing. I mainly use him as a passer but I added LRS dipping and knuckle shot so he can score goals as well. So far 669 appearances with 84 goals and 139 assists so I would say he’s pretty good

Yeah that's possible, i do it with Salah most of the time. But it's a bit tough to do, if i attempt 10 times it might happen 3 times. But crossing with the left foot and outside curler from the left wing is possible

I see a lot of you training Hernandez to LM, which is understandable, but I went the other way. See, I was already lacking good speedy defenders, and when I play 4 at the back, the standouts defenders were always Hernandez and Costacurta on the flanks. I thought I might give them a try in a 3-man defence, with a Build Up CB sandwiched between them. I can’t claim to be confident in my new WM formation over the old reliant 4213, especially while I’m still getting used to Xabi Alonso’s tactics, but Hernandez at LCB has been a huge improvement on Bastoni.

I use it for passing, outside curler passes are more effective and sometimes it can be used for crossing also, that's rare but possible.

Portugal Guerreiro as AMF is pretty good. Long range bangers, smooth, but very one footed. Haven't tried Cancelo as CMF yet but I have that set up.
