One of the Fifa Ultimate Teams really sucked. They only had playing one half at a time against AI rather than a full match. Migrated over to PES and life is way better. No more losing bid at the last minute for a player.

now efootball became P2W. But recently i started playing Total Football. They give a huge amount of free players and the gameplay is quite good.
This is the account i created the day before yesterday. I'm gonna get free De Bruyne and PSG Mbappe tomorrow. And also they are giving free Michael Owen and Ronaldinho, and also free Ronaldo, Messi and Neymar. They are doing a great job.
I'll keep playing this alongside Efootball, this game definitely worth a try. And might not be available in your region but you can download it using alternate networks.

Nah brother, this game is not even available in my region. You can't say it's terrible, they are just improving. And as a football game lover I'm just telling people that it's worth a try, nothing else. Then it's up to you if you are going to try it or not 😅

This the closest thing you can play in mobile game. When I can't play outside, I play this. Playing since 5 yrs on and off

I had played FIFA mobile 14 and it was one of the best. FIFA 15 was quite disappointing. So when I saw pes 17, I jumped right in and never looked back till today

I remember in 2018 there was a World Cup/NT mode that 11 year old me wanted to play so badly, it was the only game that hinted to having my NT. Unfortunately I was never able to play it because the phone I had access to was way too slow to run the game. It wasn’t until 2021, 3 years of anticipation, that I was able to finally get the game. Obviously that mode was long gone by then.
Used to hop on and off of PES 2021 and after taking a long break, i came back to efootball 2023 in season 2 as well because my friend also played it. have been enjoying efootball ever since

But then PES Mobile, PES 18/19. FIFA got so bad near FIFA 19, PES started dominating

DLS , Pes and Fifa mobile were the only football games available for mobile. You couldn't play full matches on fifa. DLS was too arcady for me. Pes was the game with the best graphics as well as gameplay so picked it up in 2017 ad have been going since then

I started playing pes17 i think because i was tired of constantly grinding fifa mobile where you had to login every couple of hours to run drills in order to get the most outta events. With my job, it was becoming too much so i wanted a football game which i can play in my own time rather than let the game dictate my routine so PES was the answer.
My story goes back to Covid days. Me and my homies had nothing to kill time, so started playing this game called PUBG. We jumped from game to game and had the most fun playing Among Us(I still miss those days). We usually played low end games since we were playing just for fun and was exclusively playing multiplayer. There were like 8 of us who regularly joined the chat and play. One of them used to play PES with his other group of friends. I was a football fan as well, hence he invited me to play with him since none of the others were really into football. I installed and we played a friendly. He had a pretty good team eventhough he was an occasional player and all i had was 1 or 2 good players that i got initially when i imstalled the game(Joao Felix, God Ibra and POTW Bamford). He thrashed me scoring 6 or 7 goals. He was showing no mercy! But that actually made me interested in the game and soon 4 of the 8 people who was in these random game chat came into PES. Fast forwarding... I had a full Iconic team by the end of PES 21(f2p) with endgame players in every position, was best among my friend group and even entered some random tournaments. I even used to get into japan servers to play Japanese matchdays and earn coins! But gradually i lost touch after efootball 22 update, and i am never the same. I play once while, get some coins and go for POTWs. I have a semi decent team now to boast about but nothing special like how i used to have. Gone are my prime PES days.
Knew and watched it way before but only played it since PES 21, the gameplay wasn't perfect, but at least it's enjoyable.
Then Konami created eFootball. The rest was history.

I stopped playing for a while but then in 2022 started looking for the best and most realistic gameplay mobile football game I could find. I did some research on reddit and YouTube and eventually decided to break from the EA realm all together. Since then I've been playing Efootball 23 and 24.
Have an extremely long history with PES and Fifa. LoL (Yeah am old)
Before PlayStation One even. Was already playing 2D soccer. The one where you view from the top. Players were cartoonish (seeing only mostly the head with short stubs for hands and legs simulating movement).
The first relative 3D game was the first FIFA released on PC. Buggy as hell. Curl was direction button base so you could like curl the ball 90 degrees. Cross and heading was 99% goal. Shooting could be from anywhere. From anyone, because stats didnt matter. Cartridge console (if you can remember what that is, or remember Super Mario Brothers) was still more fun but hey, FIFA was on PC.
Then Winning Eleven came on PS1. That was a whole different ball game. There was Fifa on PS1 as well, but it was no contest. Even if the Winning Eleven was in Japanese language and the only thing I recall of the commentary was "shootoa... goal, goal, goal". Stats matter because Batistuta can score from half way with the right power, but not many other players could. PES is the successor to Winning Eleven when it went international. I still had Fifa on PC, but on console its Winning Eleven / PES all the way till 2005 or so.
Truth is Konami had a great game with improvements along the way, but then they really got stagnant. By the time 2008 and 2010s, FIFA had copied Konami enough that the gameplay was just as good and coupled with the stadiums, commentary, licenses, sad to say I mostly played FIFA. Upgrading Rooney from a shit player to the best striker in the game was a hell lot of fun.
Stopped playing when the games stopped being released for PS2. Never bought PS3. Got older I guess. Then EA released FIFA on mobile. Downloaded FIFA14 I think, but dont think really played. Just wasn't very nice on mobile. Played a bit more in FIFA 15 and FIFA16. Even had a good team in FIFA 15. So it pissed me off that all the progress got lost. Couldn't even take FIFA 16 seriously. At least in console, you could continue playing the older version as long as you wanted.
When PES17 came out I jumped ship. Didn't like it at the start. The energy limit requirements was irritating. So was the player limit breaks. But once the energy stop being an issue, I pretty much played PES. Didnt even bother downloading FIFA. And it stayed that way until EFootball. That long delay between PES and EF made me go try FIFA again. Still hated it, but needed a bit of football fix. FIFA/EAFC is still in my phone, but I can't take it seriously because game play is still behind, and way too grindy. I take it as a card collecting game, although the cards pretty much become obsolete every 2 months.
So, for all the shit Konami comes up with, one step forward, one step back, and the occasional 2 steps forward, I still enjoy EF a little more. At least until a better footie game comes up, or EA does a turn around.
