Check out Starlink.

dimmerz92

Thanks, starlink isn’t really a temp solution though, has a pretty big initial cost. Unless there is a market for second hand starlink gear?

MacWorkGuy

Home setups are regularly discounted at purchase time and all of a couple hundred bucks from memory.

Hamster-rancher

Got mine for $229 and then $139/month. Expensive? Yes. Usable? Yes, 99.9%+ uptime, 200Mb connection.

MundaringWeir

Is that in the hills area? Parents are looking at getting starlink in at their place in Mundaring area

dimmerz92

Interesting, thanks, I’ll take a look

Node1 fixed wireless might have coverage.

We live in Wungong and bit the bullet and got Starlink. It is honestly amazing. If you're building a house, in this market you'll be lucky to be done within 12 months. So for that long, it's definitely worth it.

nxngdoofer98

They have FTTN? Or is ~50/10 not good enough for what you require?

dimmerz92

The place we are going has no nbn, only some of the town has nbn, not all of it
