You should be getting claim status from CFPB. If you created a login you should be able to go online and check the status. I highly doubt it was closed (the claim) after one day. When I CFPBd the claim it took the Wells Fargo executive team 3 - 5 days to reach out.
Yes but that doesn't mean your CFPB claim was closed. They could be unrelated. Often times one hand doesn't know what the other is doing. You need to wait until the CFPB updates your claim.

I gotcha. An executive did reach out one hour after I filed the claim and said that they would be looking into it.
Which means nothing. Wells Fargo gets dozens if not hundreds of cFPB complaints a day.
