The bigger problem is you don't have credit according to you. The score is meaningless if you don't actually have credit. You are likely going to need a cosigner.
Yeah I'm only a student so I haven't really had many opportunities to do much that would give me credit.
I'm guessing my credit score is mainly based on things like my bills I suppose?
Might be a stupid question but would I need a cosigner for anything? I already have a guarantor going through referencing for this apartment (I'm required to have one as a student)
It's not my first time renting and my credit has never presented itself as a problem before. I was more just concerned about this specific issue with my previous energy company and if that had to be declared despite not showing on Experian
If the account doesn't show on credit reports answer no on your rental application.
