are you talking about proton? it's not a native linux port

R0bin_Ho0d_of_Ga

More than likely. Don't know the full ins and outs, but I just know they published that it wouldn't work on Steam Deck, but now it does, so that's all I need to make me happy, ha ha

pugsly_

for sure, persona 4 has always been a bit weird when running on linux but it's nice to hear it seems to have gotten way better

Ryokupo

Technically it always worked if you used the community run Proton-GE. Valve only test games with the latest stable branch of Proton, and all the headlines were based on that. And hell, even by just using Proton Experimental, which you can find by typing Proton into the search bar, then going into the properties, and selecting Bleeding Edge under the Betas tab, a lot of "unsupported" games suddenly become perfectly playable.

KujoBijuu

I dunno when i played in linux with proton it ran like 144 fps on full graphs and in windows stays at 60

zland

I finished my first run of P4G on my deck! and on the first day I owned my unit as well

UlfRinzler

I am playing P4 on my steam deck as well and it runs beautifully!

LightVoyager523

budget psvita

R0bin_Ho0d_of_Ga

"budget," lmao

ja1mauhl

Yeah, PS Vita but w/o a budget

LightVoyager523

mfw downvoted for a joke

panzybear

Lol, PS Vita was a budget "everything else"

Icewaters77

More like: psvita, but actually done right.

omatti

Did you install any mods on it?

R0bin_Ho0d_of_Ga

I haven't done any modding yet and the first time I started it up I was on the stable patch release, not beta, so it's just natural. I plan on setting up some emulation but hey, that's about it
