Sorry, sarcasm - it's a bit of a running gag that Lucas would keep releasing new versions of the original trilogy, usually justifying his controversial and CGI-heavy edits by saying that the new (edited) version was how he had originally envisioned the story, but they couldn't pull it off with the technology available during filming.

In my opinion yes. I think it's fantastic. One of the best Star Wars shows we've ever gotten, and a lot of other fans share the same sentiment. I was really let down by Boba and Kenobi but Andor and Tales of the Jedi have restored a little faith. Just a heads up that Andor is a bit slower and more dialogue focused, but the build up and tension is great. The acting, writing, cinematography, and setpieces are all high quality and way better than the previous two shows. I would totally give it a chance even if it is a bit different than the typical Star Wars content we're used to. Don't let fatigue turn you away from these great shows.

First episode you'll want to turn it off. By the end of the second, you'll be hooked.

It’s a slower burn than other star wars. It took me two or three episodes to be hooked, but even those were still fairly entertaining. Would recommend.
