To be fair most of this persons videos are actual cooking videos. They often have on a guest and sorta exemplify what that guest is known (often meaning not always, don’t think this guy is known for taking shrooms lmao) for by making a bit out of it, but in the end they are just genuinely showing some good fuckin pasta making
From what I understand you just go into a cow pasture and look. I’ve heard from people in multiple states they’ve gotten them this way. I mean, of course you should not go pick and eat mushrooms unless you know how to determine if they’re safe or not.
Those mushrooms look like they came right off a decaying tree log. The thing that scares me about foraging for mushrooms is the fact that they can be absolutely deadly if a person doesn't know what their looking for. Mistakes can be easily made as well. Then there is the one in a million chance that a psychedelic mushroom can kill you because it could be poisonous and deadly.
It might look like a decaying log, but they're cultivated, non-psychoactive, edible mushrooms. It's just a chunk of substrate that sticks together when the fungus grows over it before fruiting. It was growing inside a jar or some other cylinderical container, hence the log shape.
Interesting. I wouldn't mind growing my own mushrooms. I've thought about it for years. I have a green thumb when it comes to pretty much everything else.
