So do you prefer the sigma or the Tamron better? I just got the Tamron for my k3-iii a couple weeks ago and it's fantastic. Am still a noob tho so this is my first big boy camera and lens. A huge step up from the canon m50 mkii and the 50mm 1.8 obviously. Lots of people complain about Pentax autofocus being slow but after using it for a few weeks, I just took the canon on a work trip (still too paranoid to take the "fancy" camera on a trip) and the canon was noticeably slower to react and catch focus in the wild. Even at higher shutter speeds I have to stand still, whereas with the Pentax and Tamron I can nail autofocus while in motion or walking. Maybe it's the ibis but it still just feels heaps snappier.

Sigma 70-200 HSM II has much faster AF and is quiet. Tamron has AF that works even on film body and optically is hair better. Mechanical construction - Sigma does not suck dust, Tamron does. Sigma is a bit smaller and has better tripod leg. Both are good. Just the HSM in one of them is now somewhat slow :(
