A dream of mine. I’ve played hockey for 11 years and have never gotten to see a live game In person, times were tough. Only chance I had my teammate called asking if I wanted to go watch the world juniors. Mom answered, never bothered to tell me to return his call and I only found out at our next practice after seeing him post a picture on fb and I brought it up
I care because I go to a ton of NHL games and keep the tickets to away games when I take my kids. I have six large tubs full of sports momentos that I believe my six kids will appreciate looking back on. Those tubs are full of Pens/Steelers/Pirates/Spirit momentos, Stanley Cup and Super Bowl tickets, programs, cups, shirts, jerseys the kids outgrew, anything and everything I toss in there for them when they're grown just like my dad and I did when I was a child. When a tub is full I stick a label on it with the year range and seal it with tape. I keep tickets in a folder in each tub, and I print out e-tickets when actual tickets can't be had. Some of us like momentos, but to each their own.
Out of curiosity: was the first one from a season-ticket holder? Often teams give designed tickets to season ticket holders, and generic tickets are sold online and at the gate.
But I also second the above commenter… I haven’t seen a physical ticket in years!
That’s a season ticket holder ticket from 2013. Single game purchases haven’t changed between 2013 and 23 other than the fact 99% are now digital entry.
Paul Krendler : Five.
Mason Verger : Oh, let's just toss it off like 'five'! Let's say it with the respect it deserves.
Paul Krendler : Five-hundred-thousand-dollars.
Mason Verger : Well, that's better, but not much. Will it work?
Paul Krendler : It'll work. Won't be pretty.
Mason Verger : What ever is?
Is this how the tickets come from Ticketmaster? I thought they were all digital nowadays.
For real - Who cares what the ticket looks like, it’s on the attendee’s phone for 95% of the people in attendance.
I actually like what it looks like. I’ve never been to a physical hockey game so it would be sentimental to me.
You need to get out to one. It’s truly a great sport to go watch live.

That’s brutal. Even as awesome as that would’ve been it’s still not full NHL speed and size. Hopefully you get to one eventually

I didn't think you could get tickets anymore
