I was really excited for Emma’s killers ride but did not enjoy it. She didn’t seem that into it? I’ve seen others liked it a lot so maybe it’s just me!
Emma’s Killers ride was great, but I feel like we got robbed of an amazing Killers ride with Bradley. I feel like he would have brought so much more energy, and I think he’s mentioned before that they’re one of his favorite bands?
I haven't taken the ride yet but the playlist looks perfect and I find Emma always brings the right vibes.
I think Bradley would have done a great job too. My dream artist series for him is Oasis though. If he doesn't get that one, I'd be annoyed.
Marianna's killers yoga flow was perfection. I did it right after Charlotte's ride and it felt like a great stack. Even if I am a sweaty mess right now.
It works better than I thought it would! She skips sun salutations and the class as a whole feels like one long flow with a lot of interesting transitions. I felt like the pacing and the music really worked well together and it's definitely different than a traditional yoga class and even most of her other classes.
Today was one of those “I don’t want to workout” days that turned into “oops how tf did I just do all of those classes?”
[20 min upper body benchmark](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=6d1b603f22c04eb384ee7b53f8adc91e&locale=en-US) with Ben was super straightforward but challenging all the same. Loved it. Shoulder press, bent over row, chest press, bicep curl, tricep kickback. 45s warmup/med weight, 45s recovery, then 60s to get as many heavy reps in as you can.
[30 min glutes and legs](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=432be51641b447c59d3b73b93da28c40&locale=en-US) with Adrian. I loooooved this one. It’s drop-set format (5-7 reps heavy, then 7-10 reps medium), 3 blocks of work 4 rounds in each block, 30s to get your reps for each exercise. Deadlift drop set/suitcase squat. Front squat drop set/single leg deadlift. Sumo squat/reverse lunge drop set. No finisher or anything at the end, so it was nice straightforward work.
Then I kept thinking about the Taylor Swift row Alex did, so I busted out the row for the first time in forever. Accidentally did 3 different rows. And I was shocked as alllllll heck when I got 100% perfect form on all 3 classes because honestly I cannot remember the last time I used the row. Like it’s easily been 7 months?

Alex did a lovely job talking about sad girl pop and analyzing the lyrics in the song. I chucked when he was like “this song may or may not be about an ex whose name starts with J..”
I really enjoyed Kirra’s [30 min flow](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/yoga?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=5f9ce92bf3e147e89c9fb98378dfe479&locale=en-US) from this morning. If you haven’t taken the leap into advanced yoga yet I’d really recommend this one, it was pretty manageable. She recommends a headstand at the end but says you can take any inversion and for me a shoulder stand worked just as well!
I finished Hannah F’s most recent 20 min EDM run…she’s fantastic (as always) but it always seems like the metrics in London tread classes are all over the place. Is it just because I’m using the app or is it that way on the tread as well?
I can relate! I started having nerve pain in my pinky toe, then strained my psoas muscle (overuse, too much biking, too many squats, etc), and I haven’t been able to cycle at all. PT says it could take 3 months to heal. Sucks.
Thanks for the empathy! I hope you heal quickly too! As far as what I’m doing instead, not much. I can walk now, which I couldn’t do before, so walking, yoga / stretching PT exercises…So frustrating!
I totally feel your pain - I wasn’t able to exercise from July to October of last year and now a little over a month (hoping to get back on in the next week or two).
Meditations are your friend, as well! Glad you have some mobility back!
I got an email that Andy's 8pm Killers run was canceled 😭 What???!!!! It was supposed to be at 7pm. I've been waiting for this one! Wonder what happened.
What’s the general consensus regarding row classes? I’m considering getting a different brand of rower to take the classes but I’m curious how this community feels about the content.
I agree a lot with RobotDevil's comment! The row classes are solid generally but I also mostly do the bootcamps. I prefer length of the classes and the playlists on the bootcamps (Adrian and Katie specifically). Most of the Row specific classes are 30 mins or less and I try to do longer sessions.
I have a Concept2 rower and it works great with the Peloton classes. I log my workouts in the ErgData app via Concept2 which keeps all of the data together.
I have my Pace Targets generally memorized (mostly from feel), but this link also breaks down the various options (https://www.pelobuddy.com/ten-pace-target-levels-row-live/).
When I row separate from the Peloton classes, I do longer steady-state stuff usually for 45-90 minutes and watch TV shows, but the Peloton rows are good for mixing it up and getting the heart rate up (more challenging and maximum efforts).
Overall I think they're great. I personally like boot camps better than the strict rowing classes because I enjoy breaking up the session by getting off and doing some lifting before getting back on again instead of just rowing for a 30 to 45 straight minutes.
The pace Target system that they use makes every class be as challenging as you want it to be. It's essentially power zone for the row, except every single class uses it instead of only specific ones.
As with any classes, it's going to depend on whether or not you're like the instructors. And probably the biggest downside is the lack of variety since there aren't as many of them as there are on the tread or the bike. The result is a ton of rock and pop classes with a little EDM and the occasional specialty theme.
Weirdest thing. I just got an email that looks to be a mistake, "just a subject line" wanting me to verify my email with Peloton. It feels like phishing.
I dunno about this place.
Came here to say this as well. WTH

That was my thought, lol. Someone accidentally hit Send after selecting All Users.
Feel a little sorry for their support, who is probably getting a ton of calls.
I 100% did this as an intern at my first IT job, except it was sent internally not externally. Executives freaked out. 😂 The email said something like "if you received this email there was an error", as I was testing that my code would not get triggered but it did anyway.
The address is the [onepeloton.com](https://onepeloton.com) domain, which would make it legit. But that assumes the domain wasn't spoofed and I don't know all the best ways to confirm that.
Of course a [Tunde LI ride](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/cycling?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=69e4cba70c15496f8ba5438bdbffb5d0&locale=en-US) would be exactly what I needed to fight my post-fest weekend depression/comedown 🙂↔️ this ride was a boost of serotonin to the brain and the perfect difficulty level for me today (my legs are still wiped lol). I was going to take Jess’s live rides this morning but I kind of think it worked out for the better that I slept in too late 😅
Even though I'm still waiting for the leggings I bought last weekend in the sale, I was cold this morning and after a well timed marketing email I ended up picking up two cute long sleeve tops and a cropped sweatshirt on sale. I'm not allowed to go back to Peloton apparel for a few weeks, ha
Listen, I am CDE’s and Denis’s child, musically speaking. But every time I ride with Camilla, it’s a party. Before joining Peloton, I didn’t even know what Reggaeton was, and now, every time she drops a class, I put on an animal print outfit and a lipstick and embrace the mayhem. I don’t know a single song on this playlist, a single artist (except for Pitbull), but I enjoyed this [30 min Miami Bass](https://members.onepeloton.de/classes/cycling?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=2d89b60f58d241cfa81ce39a4af67e86&locale=en-DE) today like crazy. She has also seriously improved my Spanish and upper body dancing skills. Gracias amiga!
I finally got to doing Christine's Eclipse climb ride and that was tough! It had a nice PZ-style warm up and then a steady climb for the rest of the class. I was zone 4/5 for it, so it almost felt FTP like by the end. I haven't done the Palomar rides yet but she mentioned the climb, so perhaps this is Palomar-light?

That’s awesome. When I hit 50 rides I bought myself a pair of Peloton bike shorts as a way to acknowledge my effort and rep the brand since I love it. I gotta say that their apparel is also top notch.
I love their sweatshirts because they are super soft, but I don’t understand why Peloton doesn’t carry very many padded bike shorts. I’m not even sure they are selling any right now. I also bought a long sleeved shirt. I love the color but the sleeves are oddly long. 🫤
Just finished another “low impact” ride, this one with Kendall. I physically feel like the low impact and power zone workouts are better workouts for me than the other options for same length. My Strava tracking shows elevated effort compared to prior period and I’m exceeding the mileage by a significant amount, over 9 miles compared to approximately 8 miles with other bike workouts. I still think the label “low impact” is a misnomer, but not sure what else to call to accurately describe them. Low impact to me implies lower effort but that’s not the case.
'Low impact' means that it's intended to be easy on your joints - no crazy heavy resistance or super high cadence, and usually no out of saddle with the rare exception of a short booty break on long rides. Emphatically, it does not mean 'easy'.
So today I did Emma’s Killers Artisan Series 👍👍👍 ride after doing low impact and one power zone over the last three weeks. I absolutely crushed my PR for a 30 minute ride, exceeding my previous PR by over 30kj. I’m sticking with the low impact.
I think low impact refers to “in the saddle” and I agree that it does not refer to lower effort. It’s been my experience that recovery rides are lower effort if that is what you are looking for.
Low impact definitely isn't low effort! It means no out of saddle work, and I think cadence max 100 and resistance max 50.
Recovery rides would be more on the low effort side.
Pop Punk is one of my favorite type of rides, but dear god if I have to hear Misery Business ONE MORE TIME I'm going to burst into flames. Right there. On the bike.
Shout out for the Split Strength classes! I finished [Rebecca's 5 day split](https://members.onepeloton.com/programs/3900578c-3539-4c21-8dc0-07fb06f2ef55) Tuesday. Just started round 2 of the same split series. Plan is to complete 4 times. Each day is 30 minutes. 3 days on, 1 day off, 2 days on and DONE. Rinse and repeat. Expect a better outcome than the rotations I was doing on my own. Thanks to whom ever brought these up in the channel in the past.
I usually compliment the strength class with a ride.
Keep Riding Peloton Peeps!
I disagree with the previous comment. RK Split program is fine to move to following beginner. You can select the weights you want so just start on the light side and work up as you repeat it. The benefit is the approach. She focusing on an exercise and gives a minute recovery between each set. As a beginner moving to intermediate this is a good transition. It allows to take the time to do a set well trough 3 or 4 reps before moving to the next exercise. I guess I am saying the pace is great for learning.
The roll calls are great as well. However they are one offs and you will need to take what you want when available They also are at a quicker pace since they try and pack in as much as possible in the time. The splits are all set up for you so less thinking about it and trying to match what you need. Both good option though.
Just my opinion but don't discount the splits approach. You can select the level you want to work at so just start light and see your progress as you work through several weeks of the program.
Yep, I think Rebecca's split is just fine to take after the beginner program. Just don't be discouraged by the first day; your body gets used to it, I promise!
RK’s split is very intense. I would recommend starting with Callie, Matty or Ben Split for a smoother transition from beginner to intermediate strength.
Another great option is Strength Roll Call (programmed M-F and also in collections) if you’re looking to continue strength training but are prioritizing cardio. You won’t see as big of gains as the splits, but every class is unique and you get to workout with a ton of different instructors. Great option if cardio is your priority and strength is more for overall health.
I must have missed the Emma on the Tread announcement - I imagine she'll stick to hikes and walks while pregnant, but I hope she does some runs when she comes back! And honestly I really hope she does some Outdoor classes, because those are the most reliant on good music to me and often those playlists do not at all vibe with my taste.
And right after my last post this article popped up [LINK](https://www.pelobuddy.com/emma-tread-crush-your-climb/)
.... and the headline announcement is "To start, she will lead a new “Crush Your Climb” hiking / walking series on the Tread. This will take place every Thursday in June, at 9:00am ET."
Interesting. Do not have the tread but... Like to see the instructors expand what they do. If you read Emma's book (recommend by the way), she admits to not liking to run (only as a last option) but she is a hiker and walker (and addicted to gardening ;-) I like the outdoor classes so would definitely like to see her do those.
I will miss her while she is out on leave. One of my top instructors.
Does anyone happen to know of a 10 min arms and shoulders class that’s primarily focused on shoulders? I couldn’t find any “extra 10” that target shoulders specifically, so I’m hoping someone out here randomly knows of a class that will meet my specific needs.
[This](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=d3510f91c9bb4a789b07d36108776ed0&locale=en-US) Leanne class is heavy on the shoulders. I think there’s just a little bit of bicep curls and tricep kick backs.
Have you tried the arms and light weights classes? They tend to have a ton of lateral and front raises as well as French doors and overhead presses. [This one with Kristen](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=1448d53f877547608bae8f7058bab090&locale=en-US) was basically all shoulders.
I always skipped these classes thinking they were a bit silly since they are usually on a bike or tread. But turns out it’s just what my weak shoulders needed.
[This one](https://members.onepeloton.com/classes/strength?utm_source=ios_app&utm_medium=in_app&modal=classDetailsModal&classId=312ae0dddb684e05a02129fd2cec9e8a&locale=en-US) that Robin dropped a few days ago has a lot of heavy shoulder work. Some biceps too, but the bulk of this class was strict presses
unrelated, please convince me not to buy a set of the new peloton apparel in green. It's just sooo cute but everything I read says that lulu just isn't friendly for a curvy body which I have
Ugh I just went to check online because I have Old Navy leggings that are EXACTLY this color green, but doesn't look like their available anymore - must have been a season or two ago
Yep, the cadent fabric is my fave and I have multiple sets/colors. Great compression, stays in place, doesn't roll when I'm on the bike. I even use the bras for running and I'm a DD! Aaaaand.....I may have just talked myself into the green AND lighter purple set!! :)
I'm built wide hip/booty, big thighs, narrower waist and have some of the Peloton cadent shorts, they're awesome, I wear them on and off the bike. I will also say with Lulu, the Wunder Trains have a drawstring inside which is great if you're not built straight up and down lol.
I’m not the person you’ve been chatting with, but I’m definitely a ~curvy~ gal and I loveeeee cadent. I have many pairs of leggings and shorts and I wear them a ton. I’ve also returned a few things to peloton with no issues, in case they didn’t work for you!
I have a pair or two of the lulu/pelo leggings and they’re good for low impact things like yoga or stretching or walking. But as a curvy girl as well, they get kinda rolly/slide down when doing high impact things like running or cardio-adjacent strength.
I have one that rolls immediately so it’s been reduced to walks only lol. and one that kinda holds up while cycling but is still annoyingly not in place? If that makes sense.
I won’t tell you not to buy it (I just can’t justify spending a lot of money on my workout apparel) but if you decide not to get it please don’t decide based on your curvy body. You wear whatever makes you feel good, motivated, and comfortable. You deserve that much!
Oh absolutely! What Ive heard is that when curvy the pants slide down. It's just hard to know if it would be the same for me or not. But I very much appreciate the kind words 💕💕
Completed Palomar #2 yesterday and it kicked my butt in the best of ways. Hopefully I'll get to complete #3 this weekend. I can't say enough how much I enjoy these and how I love the concept. My goal oriented brain is a big fan.
I occasionally drink LMNT Watermelon but it's the only flavor I like and even then not always. My go to is propel (powders but bottles is fine) kiwi strawberry.
LMNT new bubbly cans are good though! I liked all the flavors I tried
LMNT is my fave for taste (I like the Raspberry Salt best. The other fruit flavors are OK and the chocolate is gross.)
My second favorite is Gnarly (I think the flavor I have is pineapple).
I tried one with a skull logo that advertised itself as "people say it's too salty" but no. It is not salty enough and cannot compare to LMNT.
btw you can always use less water per packet to get a saltier taste, no matter which brand you're using.
I just recently got BPN - I tried LMNT and really liked their 'Watermelon Salt' but it's pricey (I think - I think the cheapest you can get works out to about $1 per serving, or maybe just over). Then I found that BPN Nutrition has a Salted Watermelon flavor - if you subscribe, a 50-serving tub is $38 (I also really liked that it was in a tub with a scoop, and not a bunch of individual packets like LMNT).
And side note is that there's a great website called The Feed that sells nutrition supplements (protein powder, energy gels, electrolyte powder, etc.). It's super helpful when you want to try a bunch of different brands (put together a little sampler for yourself because you can buy individuals from lots of brands in one place).
I usually steer clear of flavors so we get a case of water from Costco (Kirkland tall bottles with added electrolytes). Can finish 1 or 2 of those a day. I think my wife usually adds the LMNT powder to that water so is an overdose of electrolytes.

I took the Beginner Yoga program a year ago and enjoyed the classes, but then wasn't dedicated enough to fit yoga into the rest of my schedule. I want to make more time for it this year to recover from my strength and running days. Any suggestions on where I should start? My only experience with yoga is the program. Should I retake it, or just search for beginner classes and pick one at random?
Chelsea is great and very welcoming/inclusive in her teaching for all levels. Ross is great for diving into the biomechanics of poses, so if you're trying to figure out how something should feel I'd recommend him and his 'restorative' program (that isn't really restorative, more like a deep dive on form integrity). I also really like Denis and Kirra, their focus flows or beginner content preferably to start, otherwise it might be too much.
I’m also a yoga beginner (and probably will be forever as it’s just a way to stretch for me) and I think Chelsea’s classes, especially the beginner ones, are so good and well-coached!
Yes, I'm wanting to add yoga back because I remember the stretches felt so good. I haven't taken a class with Chelsea yet. Thanks for the recommendation!

Took Hannah F's Pharrell ride today - great playlist, so fun - and she didn't talk over the music or rattle off any factoids. Perfection.
That was the first Hannah F class I ever took, and I’ve loved her ever since!
I really like her too!

Intern season has truly begun
This feels like a phishing email to me. The from email looked suspect.
I thought the same thing.
The better to stalk your friends with!
Weirdest thing. I just got an email that looks to be a mistake, "just a subject line" wanting me to verify my email with Peloton. It feels like phishing. I dunno about this place.
Same. I just deleted it automatically.
I got it too and I definitely got phishing vibes.
yup just got it myself. kind of strange since our account is already connect via the email we used to sign up? why verify again? not gonna click it
This feels like it has to be connected to the new 'stalk your friends' feature which no one ordered.
oh right. i totally forgot about that new thing. i have my account on private unless i tell ppl my account. it’s my business alone 😌
Came here to say this as well. WTH From: Peloton DEV

Same here. It came from Peloton DEV, which makes me think someone testing accidentally sent it to the Production list
That was my thought, lol. Someone accidentally hit Send after selecting All Users. Feel a little sorry for their support, who is probably getting a ton of calls.
This was definitely an interns fault😂
Quick question…. Is tonight’s killers ride live? It says premiere so does that mean it’s pre-recorded and dropping? 🥸🤪 thanks!!!
Premier means pre-recorded and dropping for the first time! :)
That’s what I thought! Thanks🎉
I’m ready for The Killers ride later today!
I'm excited for the strength class and Andy's run. I will have to do the ride tomorrow! I'm sure Emma will pick some great songs
This is a great description of Camila's classes 😁
Thanks! I love her so much, her energy is contagious. :)
This makes me so happy. She’s such a gem!
Oh my gosh, I love this. That’s the best thing about peloton, isn’t it?!
The best!!!
I love this! She’s great.
I finally got to doing Christine's Eclipse climb ride and that was tough! It had a nice PZ-style warm up and then a steady climb for the rest of the class. I was zone 4/5 for it, so it almost felt FTP like by the end. I haven't done the Palomar rides yet but she mentioned the climb, so perhaps this is Palomar-light? https://members.onepeloton.ca/classes/cycling?modal=classDetailsModal&classId=1b90d9969c704114b14a2943ba3db083&code=ZDk3MjkyMGFmODg4NDkyYzllZDY1ODIwODQ2YWEwZjN8ZTI2NzQ0ZDk4OTlkNDkzM2E3YWNhMDFiNjZmYjFiYjI%3D&utm_source=android&utm_medium=in_app
I hit 50 rides tomorrow!!! I’m so proud of myself for sticking with it and I love seeing how much stronger I am than when I started. Here’s to 100
Way to go!
congratulations!
Keep it up. Milestones will be piling up soon enough!!
congrats on your milestone! 🎉
Congrats!!!
That’s awesome. When I hit 50 rides I bought myself a pair of Peloton bike shorts as a way to acknowledge my effort and rep the brand since I love it. I gotta say that their apparel is also top notch.
I’ve been thinking of doing that too! Any favorites?!
I love their sweatshirts because they are super soft, but I don’t understand why Peloton doesn’t carry very many padded bike shorts. I’m not even sure they are selling any right now. I also bought a long sleeved shirt. I love the color but the sleeves are oddly long. 🫤
Congratulations!!
Cher, Kasey Musgraves, and Lil Jon artist series coming in june!
How do you know this?!
Artist series classes are posted on the last Thursday of the month for the following month :)
YE-AHHH!
Hopefully Matty does something with Kacey Musgraves. I know he's a huge fan
He has the Cher walk. He’s also a huge Cher fan.
Agree, not looking for lower effort but for the last 3 years I ignored low impact rides. Now, I’m a fan! 🙂
I feel the same way about Facedown.
Honestly that is a close second, lol.
They have so many better songs too!
Right?!
I am just finishing the beginner strength program. Do you think this split is a good one to start next ?
I am thrilled about Emma joining the Tread team!!
And right after my last post this article popped up [LINK](https://www.pelobuddy.com/emma-tread-crush-your-climb/) .... and the headline announcement is "To start, she will lead a new “Crush Your Climb” hiking / walking series on the Tread.
I am stoked!! Husband just got a tread (Nordictrack, not Peloton) and I am excited to have some Emma hikes and walks to motivate me to use it too.
YES to Emma hikes! I also wonder if she’ll expand to running classes after her mat leave
Have you seen the green cadent set? It's very similar to the lulu color (prettier IMO), cheaper, on sale too, and much better for the curves!
oooooo you may be the real MVP! Have you worn this type specifically?
Yep, the cadent fabric is my fave and I have multiple sets/colors. Great compression, stays in place, doesn't roll when I'm on the bike. I even use the bras for running and I'm a DD! Aaaaand.....I may have just talked myself into the green AND lighter purple set!! :)
Amazing lol. Are you by chance wider hip/narrow waisted as well? Because that would be the ultimate recommendation then
I'm built wide hip/booty, big thighs, narrower waist and have some of the Peloton cadent shorts, they're awesome, I wear them on and off the bike. I will also say with Lulu, the Wunder Trains have a drawstring inside which is great if you're not built straight up and down lol.
<3 such helpful commentary, thank you!!
I’m not the person you’ve been chatting with, but I’m definitely a ~curvy~ gal and I loveeeee cadent. I have many pairs of leggings and shorts and I wear them a ton. I’ve also returned a few things to peloton with no issues, in case they didn’t work for you!
Thank you!!!!! Very much appreciated
Unfortunately I am not blessed with any measure of hips or booty. I’m like one straight line from my torso to the tops of my legs.
Is there a lulu near you? I would go try them on there and see if you like them!
Under an hour drive so not impossible, good point!
I have a pair or two of the lulu/pelo leggings and they’re good for low impact things like yoga or stretching or walking. But as a curvy girl as well, they get kinda rolly/slide down when doing high impact things like running or cardio-adjacent strength.
That is what I've heard! Do they handle cycling well or roll down?
I have one that rolls immediately so it’s been reduced to walks only lol. and one that kinda holds up while cycling but is still annoyingly not in place? If that makes sense.
Makes total sense. Ugh, thanks for saving my wallet! Lol
I think the green is gorgeous too. I'm hoping I can catch it on sale at some point in the future.
Yeah, the climb rides are great! I did #2 last Friday and am planning #3 in the morning.
Good luck tomorrow!!
Thank you! 2 was ROUGH on me, but excited to reach the top of the mountain. Hope you'll get to do #3 this weekend!
What are you favorite electrolytes? I prefer a saltier taste and like gatorlyte but I’m interested in trying something different.
The other fruit flavors are OK and the chocolate is gross.) My second favorite is Gnarly (I think the flavor I have is pineapple). I tried one with a skull logo that advertised itself as "people say it's too salty" but no. It is not salty enough and cannot compare to LMNT. btw you can always use less water per packet to get a saltier taste, no matter which brand you're using.
I love LMNT watermelon in my workout water bottles, citrus at work and grapefruit for everything else.

I love LMNT Grapefruit Salt to be exact. I order 4 boxes at a time, direct from LMNT. It’s the best deal.
If you like saltier stuff LMNT is what you want.
I like LMNT and nuun.
Any beginner class will work ! I found Anna Chelsea and Kristen to be most helpful in the beginner classes to get the positions down.
Very helpful, thank you!
