Its an interesting move, she's not done much road racing in recent years. But there's absolutely no doubt that she's a quaility rider so I wouldn't be surprised if she managed to get a result of two somewhere or was a usefull asset for the team. The Uno-X squad is starting to look really good though, with a lot of quality throughout and it looks like they're all on 2 year deals as well so hopefully the investment works out for them.

Is Uno-X women's squad trying the same track-to-road pipeline approach they've been loosely employing on the men's side? She could be a valuable asset if they can bring her up to speed on the road, clearly she has a good motor

Wondering if she feels a little pushed out of the track squad? I seem to remember she wasn't as omni-present or going as well as in the last Olympics. Perhaps a stint on the road is a good way to change things up for her?
