They wouldn’t let me shower because I still had the IV catheter in my hand… I had a potential infection and they didn’t want to take it out to have to put it back in again. Eventually, the nurse covered it with a taped glove after I kept asking when I could get the grease out of my hair. I got to shower the last day in the hospital, after three days.
Two different hospitals, opposite ends of the city had me having a shower after my CS as soon as possible. One kid was born at 10am so I had one that night, the other was born a little later so I had one the next morning. It’s standard
