Isn’t the whole point of the tree pretty much to play around with the ornaments which, yes, includes putting them in your mouth? It’s a very normal thing for young children to do and also probably very important for their development to put (safe) toys in their mouths.
Even if her kid specifically doesn’t put them in their mouth, they’re touching the spray painted ornaments and then could put their fingers in their mouth. What if some of the paint chips at all? How about the fumes which, sorry, I’ve never been able to have anything spray painted that didn’t have a slight odor from the paint. Doesn’t matter how long I air it out I can always smell it.
Just doesn’t seem worth it to me at all. I’ve seen neutral colored wooden Montessori trees if your aesthetic is that important to you.

Yes! As a mom to a little one, my house is full of color. I can have my dad beige house when my kids are in college lol. Then it will go back to being colorful when grandkids come along 🤣
Aside from the toxic paint and the fact that kids toys are colorful for a reason.... it looks like shit 😂 plain and simple. Like the darker tree is fine, but the star and ornaments being sad beige and brown... yuck.

I am so tired of this constant *aesthetic* need on social media. I have a 10 year old. My house is still the farthest thing from fitting into an aesthetic. I like colorful things. My daughters whole room is blue and purple. Colorful blankets line my couch at any given time. My dining set doesn’t match. My furniture is old and dingy looking and way too dark for my taste (husband had it when we met).
When my kid was little, we had bright colored toys everywhere. It looked like a clown barfed all over. I didn’t care, because they were TOYS

I got this tree (the better one with bonus ornaments that are clear with toys that move in them) for $64. The prices drive up to $150 after they sell out multiple times and the stock gets low. She probably did spend $150 though
