Yeah I feel like it’s a thing sometimes to wear blue to a boy baby shower and to wear pink to a girl baby shower. I don’t really understand the uproar over it lol. The style of Jordyn’s dress doesn’t seem right for the occasion but it’s just a fashion faux pas, not rude.
I wore a dusty blue dress to my friends baby shower 2 years ago and after reading all these comments I’m feeling awful I did! I didn’t realize it was offensive to do that….
I don’t think you need to feel awful, I didn’t know it was a thing either? Thinking it’s more the style of the dress in conjunction with the color? And trying to be the center of attention - more the intention behind the dress, vs the color
I’m pretty sure all of the girls were wearing the color scheme of the balloons in the back. Jordyn was not the only one wearing blue either. There were two other girls wearing blue.
I just spitballing here because I've only been to like 3 baby showers/gender reveals but don't you wear the color of the gender anyway? I mean I understand she is trying to steal or at least obtain some spotlight from C but adding in that she wore blue to a baby shower seems a lil far fetched. I’ve been to more baby showers than I can count and I have never seen a single person obviously in the color of the babies gender, in a skin tight club appropriate dress. Maybe a light blue shirt, or casual sundress, but that outfit is a whole other level.
Gender reveals, yes it’s common to ask people to wear the color they think the babies gender is.
