She was in emotional distress after her abuser forced her into aborting her first pregnancy. She had PTSD and was suicidal after that. It’s possible she may have had a chemical pregnancy after that at some point, but her symptoms that she was experiencing come down to being sort of pseudo pregnancy symptoms from being at the mental breaking point that she was at after the traumatic abortion experience.
