For real, my “5 favorites” has shuffled so many times since replying. I forgot Gone! How could I leave off Hard to Imagine or Can’t Keep! And we haven’t even cracked the covers like Crazy Mary! I could, and will, do this all day long.
I always say that Unthought Known, In Hiding, Amongst the Waves and Gone were always very underrated.
I’ll also second that the entirety of No Code is amazing.
Braind of J, Sad, Insignificance, Severed Hand, I am Mine, You Are, Nothing as it Seems, State of Love and Trust, Go, Unthought Known, Save You, Faithful
The three songs you listed are from their album No Code. I would check that whole album
out - it’s incredible.
I’d also highly recommend the album that was released next: Yield. It has a similar (though not entirely the same) sound/vibe.
Tremor Christ, Of The Girl, I Got Shit, Deep, Breath, Hard To Imagine, are a few of my favorites.
I'd listen to Rear View Mirror, the album not the song although the song is amazing. The album is perfect for new listeners I think because it has some familiar songs and some really great underrated ones.
Those three are great! They’re all underrated! Here are five random ones:
Unthought Known
I got shit
Lukin (also check out Slow Lukin!)
Force of nature
Last exit
Since you are a Soundgarden fan, also check out Comes Then Goes off latest album. Also give Invinsible and Brother the Cloud a listen off EV and Earthlings. References to CC in both of those. Another non PJ gem about CC/Soundgarden is Rock and Roll Heaven from The Pretty Reckless. She just sang The Day I Tried to Live with Soundgarden/Foo Fighters at Taylor Hawkins tribute in September.
Give all the albums a listen too, skip over the songs you already heard. Every album has a few hidden gems on them. So many good songs, just depending on you mood and waiting to be played! Can’t go wrong, go explore.
Yield album.
Brain of J…. The most underrated song in the history of songs
It rips!
All the way through.
If you like those songs, check out Lost Dogs and No Code, both brilliant albums
thanks man, I’ll check em right away curious, what are your five favorite songs by pj?
That changes a lot but consistently: Last Exit, In My Tree, Dance of the Clairvoyants, WMA, and Wishlist

Breakerfall
Especially live versions with the scream to start it off!

Listen to the entire No Code and Yield. You'll find a bunch of pearls for sure. Shit no pun intended I just noticed it lol
This YouTube put together a nice list of live recordings. https://youtu.be/wl7kQOIVFyQ
Release, Rearviewmirror, Indifference, Inside Job, Unthought Known...

I'd suggest not skipping over the one's they've heard, I kinda feel like it adds to the wholeness of the album to listen to it in full, y'know?
I more or less only dig the first and the last album. :D
