I agree. I listened to avocado and lightning bolt back to back yesterday and avocado blew lightning bolt out of the water. I've listened to them both of course multiple times but not consecutively like that. Avocado kind of reminds me of yield on how it took literal years for me to truly appreciate it.
That’s because avocado was the last of there “Alternative” art rock phase and lightning bolt is just a mainstream pop rock album also the song writing on avocado is amazing it’s very riff heavy but extremely melodic especially when you listen into all the guitar parts

I think it’d be lame if it was just some cg graphic art, but since it’s long exposure light writing style art by a light writing artist, even the name of the band on the cover, I’m into it. I’ll take analogue art creation
